Tire pressure monitoring system
I just got new rims put on and I forgot to tell them about the tire pressure monitoring system and now the light is flashing. Does anybody know what I have to do now to get rid of it?

To get rid of the warning light, try a piece of black electricians tape over that point on the dash console. A ghetto fix for sure, but it works.

Sure, glad to help.
Since you are apparently new to the forum, I suggest you do some searching and reading before posting a question. Just about everything you can think of has been discussed at length in the years since the RX-8 hit the market. For example, there are several threads dealing with the very question you asked and a few that deal with, at length, different attempts to disable the TPMS warning ligjht.

I'm not new to the forum but I also don't sit in front of the computer all day and read every tid bit of info about RX8's and there problems. I sincerely apologize to the RX8 club for not catching the solution to the problem I'm having with one's in the past!

No need to apologize, honestly this doesn’t come up that often and in general the replies to you have been civil. Now you want to see flames look up any mileage thread started after 2005. Do to the age of this forum searching can be frustrating at time. Instead of using the basic search try searching in the sub-forums that best match your issue or use advance and only search 6-12 months worth of threads instead of 3 years worth.
