Tire pressure question

I have an '04 RX-8 with a 6 speed, 225/45/18 tires. For everyday driving, what PSI do you keep your tires inflated to? The owner's manual says 32.

Your thoughts?

always use the pressure the owners manual tells you. it does not matter what tire size you have.

32 on a cool day otherwise you'll be greeted with a buzzer and TPMS light one cold morning... just happened to me the other day.

Yep, I just cold inflation plussed mine up a bit in our now cooler weather. 32 psi for daily driver.

Higher than recommended air pressure gives a bit better gas mileage, but promotes uneven center-tread wear. Dangerous if very high - blowouts.

Lower then recommended promotes uneven edge-tread wear and is dangerous (potential tire unseating if very low).

28 psi is a bit low.

Remember to always check air pressure when tires are relatively cold (not run for a few hours) and in the ambient driving environment.
