Which tires should I get? Details included!

What about during winter? Wider tires provide better grip? Or was that narrow tires?
On the side note, notice any difference in performance when you swap from the standard 225/45 to 245/40?

Another thing to mention is that a wider tire can lower fuel economy.

yes, for normal 'street use' the change in steering response isn't significant enough to fuss over, really. the added grip is a larger bonus. also, the 245 width fills out the wheel better, if that is of any concern to you. looks good.

Had my SPTs for 10 days now. Just had the first good rain this morning. They did much better in the rain than the stock Dunlops I had. They're not quite as crisp in the dry, but not bad really. A steal at about 1/2 the price of the Dunlops!

Everone is all hopped up on the SPT's because for the price you pay, you actually get a good investment on your return. So basically, it's just dirt cheap compared to buying stock tires and peform and ride better than stock tires. Make sense?

i havent looked into too much, but as far as i can tell their is only a small price difference between the SPT's and the Mx's.
However the Mx's are very comparable to the Yokohama advans, but happen to be half the price. All im thinking is to get the best grip for the buck.
