TPMS Warning after tire pressure adjustment

TPMS Warning after tire pressure adjustment
Recently installed the 225/50HR-17 Dunlop Winter Sport M3 tires and Kazera rims with TPMS from Tire Rack. Install was perfect and TPMS warning went away after 10-15 min of driving as per manual. 2 days ago I increased the PSI from 30 to 40 in each tire. The TPMS warning light came on as I expected after changing the pressure but it's still lit after probably an hour of mixed town and highway driving. I haven't exceeded the maximum PSI for the tires and haven't damaged the air stems as far as I can tell. I suppose I should take the PSI back down to 30-35 to see what happens but still think this is strange. Anyone else have this problem when adjusting PSI?

I see, very interesting. So you basically have to run the 8 with PSI 30-35 or the TPMS doesn't like it. Is there any danger running the tires at 35-40 or 40-45? I thought the TPMS would adjust to the new PSI but I guess not....

jginiso,
Are you aware that the Owner's Manual recommends 36 PSI cold for snow tires vs 32 PSI cold for stock summer tires?
Why were you running with 30 PSI and what made you decide to go to 40 PSI?
Also, the TPMS light is supposed to come on if tire pressure is less than 26 PSI or greater than 49 PSI (which is not exactly 32 +/- 6 as stated by Ajax) according to this Mazda service bulletin:
