Trinet Motorsports brake rotors

Trinet Motorsports brake rotors
I've only had these on my car for a couple hundred miles, but thought I'd make a thread, as I've only seen them mentioned here once.
I replaced my stock rotors due to a lot of vibration when braking at moderate to high speeds. Apparently, the previous owner of my 8 had a lot of fun with the stopping power of the car. While researching different options for replacements, I came across Trinet Motorsports. They have an eBay store (oh no!), a fairly basic website, and a shop somewhere in Orange County, I believe. After reading positive reviews on other car forums, and seeing the relatively low prices, I decided to take the "risk" of buying these. Trinet Motorsports is not one of the more well known names in braking products, but after talking to the owner and a few members of the staff there, I felt confident that their product was legit. Some will say you get what you pay for, which is usually true. But I didn't feel like spending so much more for brake rotors that I believe are all quite similar (excluding two-piece, BBK's, etc.) I will update this thread if the brakes suddenly give out, assuming I make it out alive.
As far as I can tell, stopping power is about the same as stock. However, my assessment isn't the most accurate, because my stock rotors were shot, and I also changed my brake pads at the same time as these. What I can say is that they work just as they should, and I liked the additional flair that the slotted design provides. Whether or not it affects my braking performance, I don't know. Trinet also offers cross-drilled/slotted rotors at the same price, I believe. I didn't go that route after reading of the increased risk of cracking and other problems with those kinds of rotors.
Anyways, just thought I'd take some photos and let the RX-8 community know about one more option for brake rotors. My next step: painting those hideous brake calipers.

I think it would be a shame for this thread to disappear into oblivion without a single response, so I'm going to ask everyone else: If you've changed your rotors, have you noticed any difference in stopping distance or braking feel? I imagine if they're the same size as stock, it wouldn't be too different. Next time I have to change my pads I may go with something a little more aggressive for harder initial bite, or some stainless steel brake lines.

i changed my brake pads to hawk hps. that made a difference.
i cant imagine your brake rotors doing anything though. slotted rotors help when you're tracking. same with drilled. but you arent going to notice a difference unless you are really ***** to the wall on a track for 20 minutes.
the most noticeable thing you can do with a brake rotor is get a lightweight 2 piece and shed some rotating pounds per corner.
