Trinet motorsports brake rotors.. good or bad?

Does anyone know about this brand of rotors: Trinetmotorsports.com? full set drilled/slotted zinc coated on Ebay for $263 shipped.... too good to be true? I don't know how to find out if they're junk without asking you guys

I'm also considering R1concepts rotors and I think there's at least one 8 on the forums with those.

Thanks for any help!!

I was looking at their website, they look nice! Can't be that bad. I would buy them.

I think I'll probably try them out, I'm thinking about doing the black zinc too. Which pattern do you guys like?

I think I may try to paint my calipers blue. I have some red caliper paint that I got at an auto parts store, do you guys know if they make a specific blue caliper paint, or what kind I should use so it lasts? Thanks

EDIT: nevermind, quick search came up with this: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku I'll check my local stores to see if anybody carries it in stock. I'm thinking about putting those little decals on there too... RX-8 or Mazdaspeed?

I just put a set of these on my car on monday, only put 5 miles on them so far. They seem ok and look great for the price concidering OEM rotors ar $100 each and I got the the set of 4 for $263. I went with the "wirlwind" patternand Hawk Ceramic Pads. It has been snowing and icy here and it is really hard to tell if I actually have any more stopping power.

Hmmm, tough choice, I like those too I'm thinking maybe C in the front and A in the rear... I like the curved patterns, but I think the straight lines might look better with stock wheels.... decisions decisions Looks like the Zinc came off immediately and evenly, that's nice.... I like the black better than silver.

Oh, by the way, I'm not really expecting much difference in stopping power since the size and contact is the same... but one or both of my stock rotors in the front is warped already (22k miles) and I think the increased cooling might prevent that, or slow it at least and now I'm changing my mind again towards the curves.... probably looks good flowing with the fenders. Which way is the curve suppose to go, I can't tell from you're photo... and I assume they were symmetrical, hope they're not THAT cheap, lol

if it were me, I'd go curved on all 4 and black like you said....I wish I would have gotten these instead of mine.

Yeah, Racingbrake makes good rotors, but they also cost a lot more.... these Trinet rotors are $263 for all for.... Racingbrake adss up to about $475, and I probably won't track mine much, maybe a little Autocross. If I ever got into serious track stuff I'd probably get a FD just for the track.... after I win the lottery, of course
