I'm curious why I have a different wheel out of my 4. And which one (or both) the other early (and later) 8's were delivered with. 3 of mine are pretty much smooth on the inside of the wheel. The 4th has about a 1/3" dip about 1" wide on the inside of the rim. I'm referring to the surface of the rim opposite the tires of course. I'll attach a pic showing both. The one with the different shape also has a different stamping on the inside of the spoke - same #s as the other 3, just different. Last thing: the one with the depression (bevel?) seems a bit heavier than the others- maybe 6-8 ounces.

Appreciate the feedback so far. My build date was 5/23/03. I wonder how many were made with the less common wheel, which appears may be the nearly flat version of which I have three.
