VOLKS: how long until you received your order?
hey guys, i've been reading that people have been waiting about 4 - 6 months OR LONGER!!! on their ordered Volks... anyone receive it in a timely manner? I mean within the quoted arrival date?
I was quoted 7-10 weeks & its been 3 so far, just curious ...

Gram lights, because they have changed the lip on it, have been taking a really long time. Wheels ordered late last year hadn't gone into production until last month from what it seems.
Volks usually 60-90 days, always 90-120 I'd say.
Patience is a virtue. You'll be super happy once you get them.

I bet I win this one... ordered in February and got them in December. This includes a 2 month delay (it's almost mandatory to screw up when shipping stuff to Hawaii). I did expect it to take a while, but I was thinking more along the lines of 6-7 months. But I was still super happy once I got them.

I'm about 99% sure I want to order the new GTS (new 2006 model). The "official Volk distributors" are taking pre-orders, with estimated shipment to arrive in May to June timeframe. Realistically though, it will be more like early next year. I'm hesitant to even put a deposit down.

I’m told it’s a guessing game. There is only 1 importer of Volk wheels, Mackin. I was told they place a container in Japan and when it’s full it’s shipped. So if you place your order and the container is 3/4 full you're in luck. If it left the day before you placed your order you're S.O.L. I'm not sure how many sets come over and are placed in stock. Mackin is who the dealers call to see what’s in stock also. The guy I talked to said he tells people 3 to 4 ½ months.

Tks! They are some "identical" wheels of a member in the forum. But I swear I had the idea before I read his wheel post. Anyway I thank him for the information on the offset.
The only difference is his car is WB and my car is VR... Now I guess you know which wheels I've got.
Will post some pics when my car is ready to show....
