Want to check details on these 19s...

I am about to buy a set of Blitz Technospeed Z1s in 19s. The fitment they have is 114.3 and 5 stud, with offset of 45. Both the front and backs are 8" wide. Are these okay for the RX-8? Will I need some spacers to line up the wheels with the fender? A recommended tyre size would be appreciated too.

Thanks,

Waz

the outer lip will only be 5mm further out than the OE wheels, assuming the clear the front brake caliper should be fine. Are they specified as an RX8 fitment? The only other thing to be concerned about is the centerhole size. The Mazda hubcentric stub on the hubface is 67.1mm diameter

just make sure they clear the brakes... other than that you should be fine.

If your buying it online you maybe screwed if they don't fit. Make sure you know who you're buying from.

Just found the bore on the CTR is 64.1 and the RX-8 is 67.1 Is there no way of getting these to fit then?

Infact they may fit as the owner has been given rings to make them fit the CTR! Will ring Blitz tommorow and check for sure but anyone have any pics of 19x8" all round with +45 offset> Want to see how it fits in relation to the fenders!

it's 5mm further out, you won't even be able to tell the difference

if the centerbore can be adapted then your main concern needs to be whether or not they will clear the front brake caliper

Hi guys, thanks for all the help so far! Talked to Blitz and they reckon as the wheel has a smaller center bore than that of the RX-8 and so won't fit on directly. They said some hub-centric wheel spacers would perhaps do the job tho!? Anyone care to elaborate on this? If I do get the wheel spacers, what size should I get to make them line upto the fenders nicely?

Thanks,

Waz
