What do you think about this deal?

ok
my neighbor got new spinny rims
so now he is selling his 8 month old chrome rims + tires he has on his G35
Rear: 20 in
Front: 19 in
Does it fit our 8s?
He is selling it for $700 (not sure about the tires)
Its so cheap that i just wanna buy it even though I'm not a fan of chrome rims.
Also I needed all season tires anyway.

here are the pics of his G35(with 8month old chrome rims + tires) and my 8

pics dont worry gotta check the tire size like fanman said the offset the lug pattern which i think is the same on our cars ... 20s in the back should be fine.. just gotta see if you need 265, 275 etc on the back but spinners come on man

If they fit I think they would look just fine, looks like a nice wheel.

Those lambo doors really set off that 35 :D

I think they'd look pretty good on an 8, how wide are they?

Your car will be much slower.

The 20's in back will make it look like a toy car.

All wheels and no car!

Hitmann,

I think he is saying his friends new wheels are spinners so he is selling his old wheels. Why would his friend want spinners on a G35? I have have no idea.

Jenkins...
I have regular rx8 with veilside kits
however i think my CF hood made it look like shinka

ok, I asked him about sizes of the rims
Front 19x8.5 or 8.0 (he wasn't sure, but he thought 19x8.5 was about right)
back 20x10
rims are total $600

and tires...
front 275/30/zr20
back 245/25/zr19
these all season tires are $1000

what do you think about these price?
and more importantly, does it fit our 8s?
thank you

most important are the offsets! i remember looking at a deal of wheels from another g35, but the offsets were not right and ended up not getting them.

the setup with tires seems kinda extreme tho may be okay if running on stock setup.

http://www.zenetti.com
still i'm not sure about the offsets though
When I used wheel finder on the web site
it said

++ Wheels that fit your MAZDA RX-8
FIVE (name of the wheel that I'm trying to buy)
Front: (2)
19X8
18X8.5
Rear: (2)
19X8
18X8.5

and for G35

++Wheels that fit your INFINITY G35 COUPE
FIVE
Front: (3)
20X8.5
19X8
18X8.5
Rear: (6)
20X8.5
20X10
19X8
19X9.5
18X8.5
18X9.5

Does it mean that my neighbor's old wheels would not fit my car?
i mean is there anyway to fit his wheels in 8?
again, my neighbor got
front 19x8
back 20x10

600 dollars thats it
any bends or cracks.

go outside knock on his door and put on a wheel
simple
you can ask everyone here and everyone will have a opinion or a measurement.
i know for a fact 20x10 will fit just make sure you have the right offset and the wheel
fits the hub.most important is the hub it has to lay flat

Just pick a day, and swap wheels. If it rubs in any way, dont buy it. If it fits like a glove, pay the man and drive off cuz they're already on your car.

i 2nd that!
double check the tyre profile...
245/25/19 is alot smaller than 275/35/20 profile. you want to keep them at similar rollering diameter

what would the advantage or disadvantage be rolling on a 19F and 20"R setup...

i know lambos have 18"F and 19"R setups... y do they do that?

It shouldnt harm performance that much since a supercar does it???

i like the Thruxtons ..and would love to get the 5 inch rear lip that comes with the 20s..
