wheel help
Hi i am looking to purchase new wheels and tires for my 06 whitewater pear 8. I am looking for the jdm or autocross look, i want flat black or a gunmetal color wheel. Probably going to go 18 x9 on all fours, maybe 9.5. I love the ings wheel i just cant afford 600 a piece right now especially since i am going for the rt615 falken azeni tires. any help or suggestions on a nice wheel that i can purchase. I hate the look of the stock, i like the style of the wheels i would powdercoat, but the width kills it for me. i want a wide wheel with a beefy tire.. If anyone has any suggestions or reccomendations on a good place to look i would greatly appreciate it. I had volk ce28ns on my sti prior to this and i loved the wheel and tire package, unfortunately i just cant afford to drop that kind of money right now on rims. So if you know anyone that can cut a deal or if anyone has wheels that fit my specifications please pm me back i would greatly appreciate it. Im runnin on bald stock rear tires right now until i can find something i like.. im sick of the mazda techs trying to replace my bridgestones!! not worth it considering im going to be upgrading in the next few weeks.. thank you to whomever can help me out with my predicament

Well if you're looking for the JDM look and dont want to spend $600 a wheel, Im afraid you're out of luck there. You could always get that look from buying Rota wheels, but that is all up to you.
As for the "auto-x" look. Enkei makes some of the cheapest, strongest, lightweight wheels just for this purpose. Im sure you've heard of the RPF1, NT03+M, etc. The RPF1 is a favorite around here.
I highly suggest you get those. $300 a pop for 18x9.5 +38 which still leaves you some extra money for tires.
Now tires, you sure you want to go with the rt615? If you havent already bought them yet I suggest you keep searching for a better tire, especially if this is a auto-x setup. I would reccomend the Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec; great tire, really heats up fast (great for auto-x) and wont melt on you like the falkens. Great wet handling as well.
