who knows

if i were to buy 19" rims by 9.5 in the rear would they rub?
i was talking to a mechanic and he told me if i could fit 9.5 without any rubbing he would buy my wheels...
so i just wanna make sure hes rite cuz ive see it done on some rx8s before.

Do you have certain wheels in mind already? Probably need to know the offset to know for sure, also are you lowered at all?

nope im not lowered at all and its 35 offset im not looking for a mesh staggered set of wheels

I think you can fit them, may need a little negative camber, but I think they will fit.

they will definitely fit, you just may need to adjust camber or roll the fenders

BAH!

for stock suspension you'll be fine - you won't run into any issues til you drop your car....

depending on what kind of drop you get, you may need to either roll the fenders or stretch the tires to fit w/out rubbing.

I have 19 by 9.5 in the rear. i'm dropped aswell and I have no RUB.

I've got 19x9.5's with a 35 offset. I rolled the fenders, and I put a 5mm spacer in the rear. No rub... don't know if I really needed the spacers or not. I put them on when I put the wheels on for the first time, and I just left them. Never tried without it.

BTW I'm lowered on Tanabe's

There's absolutely no reason for rolling the fenders if you're not planning on getting springs/coilovers. 9.5 any offset will fit no problem
