Width advice

So in a few months im pulling my 8 off the road for an overhaul and one of the side projects is I will attempt to make some rocket bunny inspired flares and sticking some wide *** rims on im currently looking at the work CR-2P rims im going 11.5 on the back but im not sure how wide I can go on the from,
I think my flares are gonna be in the 50mm area but ive still gotta factor in the steering so I was wondering how wide others have gone on the fronts even without flares I know 9.5 on et38 fit nicely as thats what i have now nut if I just got straight to 10.5 will I have turning issues etc.

I run 10.5 with 275-35-18 on all 4 corners with no drama...+43 offset

If you run flares are you going to cut out the wheel arches?

yeah thats the plan fronts I dont care arches are peanuts in the UK with all the scrapped 8,s but the rears being part of the main body is a bit scarier.

im looking at 10 to 10.5 up front with 11.5 on back id like wider on the back but the CR-2Ps stop at 11.5

I guess I would figure out what you want for flare width wise and then pick offset based on where you are moving the outer edge of the rim too and what you can get for wheels. If your flares are 2" wider on the front you could go to 10.5 with +10 or even smaller offset if you can get the wheels

Rears you will have no trouble getting 12's under if you cut the arches out.....

I'm just concerned that the additional distance the outside edge comes out by will cause issues when I turn the steering wheel and the out rim enters into the arch and comes in contact with the arch linner
