Ross_Dawg 07-08-2009 10:40 PM

Camber adjustments shouldnt be an issue, but rolling would be.. but if i rolled and did camber adjustments whats the largest tire i could put on 265, 275?

tiltmode43 07-08-2009 11:31 PM

TopGear8 07-09-2009 05:24 PM

No? Why is that?

TopGear8 07-09-2009 07:45 PM

Because this is a sports car. Not a old chevy that you put big ole rims on and some hydrolics!

Spinning Sushi 07-09-2009 07:47 PM

You can put 20'' rims after you get a wide body kit. :)

Makes sense, was just lookin at some rims and they just happen to be 20s think they had the same ones in 18s, but thats why i came here to post because i wasnt sure, thanks

TopGear8 07-09-2009 07:59 PM

^If your going for looks, then get 19's. 20's are just too big for this car.

SympleMan523 07-09-2009 08:08 PM

Just looked and they are 18x8 and they have an offset of either 35 or 42, which would be better between the two?

TopGear8 07-09-2009 08:13 PM

^35 would be better. But IMO getting aftermarket wheels that are the same width as stock is worthless unless your preparing for B Stock. Get at least 18x8.5 or 18x9. It will look much more aggressive, and provide more grip.

Thanks, and what about for tires then?

TopGear8 07-09-2009 08:45 PM

^Depends on what size and offset you get. 245-255 is good for a 18x8.5. 255-265 is good for a 18x9...And so on...What wheels are you interested in?

dozer 07-09-2009 08:48 PM

im running 245's on my 8.5s but im dropped pretty good

^You should save up and get a legit set of wheels. You will thank me in the long run, trust me.
