For the price point they are good, the stock RE040's are in the same class, and they suck a 100x more than 615's, and cost 2x more, those I would consider garbage. Back in 07, 615's were the shit, now they are old. They suck, like I said in the beginning, but out of the 100's of tire choices available in the class today, they are a good choice.

This I agree with but the 615s don't belong in that list and most certainly arent in the same league as the XS.

The best bang for the buck wheel out right now is the Z1, has been for a while.

Ok thanks guys

Ross_Dawg 08-12-2009 03:19 AM

^ Thanks Jon, yeah a 255 will give you a good stance as well

F: Volk GTS 19x8.5
R: Volk GTS 19x9.5

What is the recommended tire size?
Does anyone know what the wieght of these wheels are? Dont wanna go any heavier than about 3lbs per corner.

pdxhak 08-12-2009 12:16 PM

Go 205 up front and 215 in the rear for that aggressive stretched look ;)

You need to provide offsets...

Usualy people run 245/35/18 up front and 275/35/18 in the rear; but thats with conservative offsets (+35-42 range)

I was thinking of going a bit staggered.... I dont know too much about offsets but i thing it was 42ish in the front and 45 at the rear... does that sound right for 19x9.5? 19x8.5 in the front. :Eyecrazy:

J8635621 08-13-2009 08:15 AM

That would fit, but not be flush.

Ross_Dawg 08-13-2009 12:43 PM

do 19x8.5 +30 and 19x9.5 +37 and throw 265/35/19 on the rear instead of 275

J8635621 08-13-2009 01:28 PM

Or roll the fenders and run 275s

RotaryMachineRx 08-14-2009 11:29 AM

Okay so just to clear this up, I will NOT be out further than the fender with 19x9.5 +30 265/35/19 rears and 19x8.5 +37 245/35/19 up front?

TopGear8 08-14-2009 11:34 AM

^Fronts wont, Rears will...

J8635621 08-14-2009 11:41 AM

Your offsets you just typed are backwards. +30 front and +37 rear 275/30/19 would look better in the rear to me, but would require a fender roll.

Yea just making sure he was aware. Doubtful he could even buy the offsets he wanted.

Ross_Dawg 08-14-2009 10:20 PM

Yup they're available

Ya sorry I meant to have the offsets the other way around... so what offset/tire size could I use in the front and back for these so I wouldn't have to do a fender roll?

Angelo se3p 08-17-2009 09:21 AM

im looking at these rims 18x10 +15

ill have to get some new spacers for the rears to fit.
and il have to go wilth 18+9 in the front

eduncks 08-17-2009 02:57 PM

will rims with a +45 offset of any size fit on my 2004?

J8635621 08-17-2009 03:09 PM

We need diameter and width of wheel, as well as the tires you would like to run in order to tell you that.

Angelo se3p 08-17-2009 04:09 PM

lol +45 would fit almost anything.

thats basically standerd

kokats8 08-21-2009 02:31 AM

..

will i have rubbing issues with 18x8,5 +30 front and 18x9,5 +38 rear work cr kai's?which is the best and lighest tire size that i can wear?also the best-maximum height reduction?appreciate some picts!thnx.

J8635621 08-21-2009 02:43 AM

It will fit fine. Tire size is up to you but most do between 225 and 255 on the front and between 255-275 on the rear. You can fit the 18x9.5 +38 concave wheel all around unless you want the flat faced wheel in front/stagger look.
