http://www.frsport.com/5Zigen-FN01RC...L_p_12481.html wow $480 price difference They take work to fit though... |
Ok got these from a friend that was going to put them on his mr2 but he said that they wouldn't fit. I'm wondering if they would fit on the 8. Front is 17x8 +45 back is 17x9 +45. Their volk sf challenge
yes they will fit
Yes they will fit. Not aggressive by any means. I don't know about bolt pattern, hub size, etc. but the size/offset is fine.
So whAt tires should I run on these?
225/50/17-245/45/17 on the front and 245/45/17-275/40/17 on the rear. You can go thinner, but you don't really need to.
Thanks for the info..my friend gave them to me for free because the need to be repIred. One has a crack and the others crub rash.. Any idea how much this would cost?
No clue but you can bet on at least $100/wheel.
That's what thought.. Thanks bro
I don't think cracks can be repaired.
Yeah they can, but I would never trust myself driving aggressively on them. One pothole or track day and youll be posting pics of your car with only three wheels on.

Greets,
(I only made it to page 82 before my eyes started to blur. Apologies if this was answered in the last third of the thread) 18 x 9.5 +38 all corners: consensus seems to be that up to 265/35 will fit fine without rolling. How about a 255/40 tire? Overall diameter is much closer to stock (differences in tire make/brand aside), but will it be stretched much? I'm dropped on MS springs. |
ehh Id stay away from a 40 sidewall, itll look like a balloon. And a 35 sidewall is actually closer to stock.
The rears might need rolling depending on how low the MS drops |
^Actually Ross you are wrong :)
A 255/40/18 has the same Diameter as the stock 225/45/18 Tire - 26.0" A 265/35/18 has a Diameter of 25.3". Should maybe do a bit of reading before giving false information next time yeah? ;) |

But it has a 4" sidewall when the 265/35 has a 3.7" sidewall. So you will have a more meaty tire. 265 will definitally look better on a 9.5" wheel. |

^Well then maybe you should have said that in the first place :)
And with the outside edge of a tire being about 5mm inward on both sides. I dont think the taller tire would really rub noticibly more than the wider one. or vice versa. |
