^dude again, you need to post more info. You are pretty much asking us if a wheel will fit, without giving any info. Make sure its the same bolt pattern 5x114.3. What's the offset? What's the width? What size are they?

So the size for the P45's are 18x9.5, so anything with an offset of +50 to +12 will fit it just depends how much fender work you want to do (if any) and how much rubber you want to run (245-275)

Okay that helps guys....thanks....I just wanted to purchase a set of P45-r's without doing any work (keeping the car with the stock fenders). Same goes for the tires.

Ok let me clarify this again:

Stock wheels are 18x8 +50

The ONLY size the 18" P45-R's come in is 18x9.5 with a range of offsets from +50 to +12. This is a much wider rim than stock, hence, a little lower gas mileage (because of wider tires) but probably weighs the same (maybe a little heavier) than stock.

So you want to have to do no fender work, which would give you the choice of an offset of +48. This would fill out the fender 21mm more, however you'd have 17mm less clearance to your springs/shocks and may need a 5mm spacer to clear them.

Or you could get the +35 offset. Will definitely fill out the wheel gap, no worries about suspension clearance, but you might have to roll the rear fenders depending on what size tires you want to run.

Tires: you can run anything from a 245 to a 275 tire on these rims. If you are using these for tracking, i suggest the 275. If these are just your Daily Driving rims, i suggest the 255/35/18.

How come you suggest the 255/35/18 tires on a nonaggressive setup? 255/40/18 is stock outer diameter FYI (speedometer is correct, better highway mpg). Shouldn't rub either.

I was wondering if 19x9.5 +38 would work ok on the front I already have them running on back with a 265 series just want to have a bigger lip on the front.

Thanks for the help Ross_Dawg. Can I get away without spacers and still have a comfortable ride without any fender rub on 255/40/18 tires? This would mean that I would just order the rims and tires (+48mm offset as that seems to be the closest to stock) and throw them on at home if I wanted to and be good to go?

The spacer has nothing to do with the fender. It would solely be responsible for making sure your tires/wheels don't hit the suspension

And you do realize you bought a sports car right? Why are you asking about gas mileage?

Yes I did....and I love my 8! However, I wouldn't want to make the gas mileage worse than it already is. Since I'm a newbie when it comes to tires/rim setups, where can I get spacers and how much are they and per install?

Again, you might not need spacers. Im not familiar with these exact rims so I dont know if it would clear the brake or suspension components. I know +45 DOES, so thats why i suggested the spacer.

You can probably find them cheaper elsewhere. A spacer basically pushes the whole rim/tire combo AWAY from the suspension. You can install them yourself if youre able to take off the wheels.

I just got a pair of 5mm spacers off ebay for less than $10 shipped. Basically a piece of metal so it should be fine.

However, after some thought and further checking on wheeldude.com, I found out that they have a set of rims that I like that will fit our car without any customizations.

What do you guys think of the 18x9 Rota G-Force - Gunmetal(5x114.3/e30/73) rims with 225/45R18 FALKEN Ziex-912 tires?

I really like the shape and I think it will look nice on my VR! Does anybody have this setup....perhaps some VR owners with pics?

Look up WVboosted8 I believe. He had the real version of those wheels in basically the same offset. You should get 245/40/18 on those rims instead of 225 FYI. It will look way better. Is your car lowered?

Yeah I did some searching just now and I saw WVboosted8's car....looks pretty sick! I'm starting to like this setup. Will I get lesser gas mileage and handling by throwing the 245's on? Or will I notice any major difference?

I went from 225s to 245s and got maybe .1 mpg different literally. Basically unnoticeable.

That probably wont look good then. When the car isn't lowered it will actually look like the wheels/tires stick out past the fender. I think that is right anyways regarding this set up.
