I wish that too Atilla! But man its a GOOD DEAL! And its great for all those guys that buy Bs wheels just cuz their cheap! "Recession":smoker: |
Just wanna ask if this would fit with no rubbing or fender roll or fender shave.
19x9.5 45 offset with 245/35/19 tires? sitting on stock suspension, would tein S techs be to low for the rim? |
^you'll be fine. Roll if you want for safety but you're fine. S-techs are ok.
|
fit question
My turn...
Anyone have an opinion on these Enkei RZ5 Wheel - 18x8.5 +24. Tire - Bridgestone Potenza S-03 PP - 225/45R18 I am dropped about 1.5 F, 1.75 R. Will these stick out enough to cause me to need to roll my fenders? I love these rims and the price is sweet, I just don't want to have to do more modifications for wheels. That offset is pretty scary. But then again... I'm a noob and don't know enough about it. |
Well since I'm not familar with those springs, I googled and they seem to be a 1.3" F and .9" R drop. They should fit without a roll if you keep 225s, but if you step up to 245s like most people then it will need a fender roll. Some other stuff like your camber setting matters, but you should be safe. https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...highlight=rota edit for similar setup Your's would be 6mm farther out in the front and rim would be the same in the rear with a little more stretch on the rear tires.

You most certainly won't rub with 245s. 275 should fit even. Bilstein are nonadjustable, while Tokicos are adjustable. I'm sure you would be happy with either one.

will be getting stance gr+ coilovers later
but wondering how much work will have to be done with: setup a:18x9.5 +45 wrapped in 255/40 setup b:18x10.5 +15 wrapped in 275/35 setup c: 18x19.5 +15 wrapped in 255/40 which do u guys think will look the best? |
Lol setup b is almost certainly out of the question and setup c will need fender pull. Setup a will not even need rolled fenders.

Setup C is what i would go with but that just IMO, Fender Pull for sure maybe even some Camber!:eyetwitch |
^18x19.5 +15...Dont ya think that 19.5" wide might be a bit much?!?
 |
I have my 18x8 +33 in the front and 18x9 +28 in the rear with a roll currently and it's working fine, aside from occasionally brushing against some of the plastic lining stuff that's still there after trimming it during the roll. With a bit of a trim it would be absolutely fine.
Might get some tein S-techs off someone and wondering if I'd encounter any issues with that. I've only had issues in the rear thus far and it's still not too problematic even with 2 people in the back (which I'd say effectively lowers the car more than the S-techs should). My only concern now is if I'd encounter issues in the front. Even though I feel fairly comfortable saying the rear would be ok, please advise me for both front and rear just in case. |
^You wont have any problems with the front. Your most likely not running wider than a 245 up front...You'll rub more in the rear, but like you said, not any more than you do with 2 people in the back..

HOLY HUGE SIGNATURES BATMAN! someone resize jbritt's picture :eyetwitch

This is turning into the Aggressive wheel thread again......
Let's get back to reality here.... 18X9.5 +15 will need at least 20mm ( 3/4"+) of work to not rub.....Even with 255 series tires.... |
