^What you said in your last sentence is why he figured he would need spacers. Our cars have more inner wheel clearance than most, therefore most people have to get spacers with wider wheels so they don't rub on the shock/spring.

You might want to check the wheel bolt dia as well....
Some of the Audi's are 5X112... |
Thanks for the reply Topgun..I think I can sell my Axis wheels. They have new Kumo tires. I bought the car just like it is . Great wheels , Magnaflow, KN Typhoon, Cool blue pulleys, Ect from the bank,, It was a repo !! 05 with 21K Im not sure what Im going to do with it. I do think it's slow for a sports car. But i sure like it. Anyway I will change the wheels. Any other suggestions ? Do you like Nitto INVO tires ?

18x9.5 with 15 offset all the way around?
im currenly running a 19x9.5 with 265 in the rear; front is a 255 w/ 19x8.5. i do have the rear fenders rolled and lowered on Tenabe GF springs |
Tire size?
|
Front 235 45 18
Rear 245 45 18 |
well if I'm correct you cut the rim width in half and the offset is 50mm toward the face of the rim... correct me if I'm wrong, but yeah, if I used spacers to avoid rubbing or hitting the well it might push out too far unless I A: roll the fenders or B: widebody.. and if it's a different bolt pattern I could use the adapter as the spacer, two birds with one stone :P

Hey people i bought a 55 plate 8 few months ago and im looking at buying some new AVS F15 alloys for it.
These are the choices i have from the website: 5x114.3 19x8.5 ET+45 5x114.3 19x9 ET+47 5x114.3 19x9 ET+28 5x114.3 19x9.5 ET+45 5x114.3 19x10 ET+30 Can you please reccomend some sizes and offsets that will fit. I would like to have 19x10 on the rear and 8.5 or 9 on the front but am unsure on offsets and sizes that will fit it. Could you also reccomend some tyres with them, i was thinking 245/35/19 front and 265/30/19 back?? Its a stock 8 so hasn't been lowered or anything. Thanks |
19x9.5 +45 rear and 19x9+47 front if you have to have staggered. You can fit the 19x9.5 +45 all around. 255/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear for the stagger and 275/30/19 all around for the nonstagger.

Thanks alot greatly appreciate the help. ill be sure to post a pic when i get them on!

Rear 225 45 18 using 18x8 off 40? Considering some new enkei wheels and I was wondering if these would work without rolling the fenders. I'm not to great at the offset thing. Tried to learn but became even more confused. lol |

That will fit perfectly fine. You are moving the wheels out 10mm from the stock +50. You have a bunch more room. If you are buying new wheels, you might want something that fits a little "better." The lower the offset, the farther out the wheel sets with widths being equal.
|
^He's talking about a more aggressive, wider wheel. For example. instead of 18x8 +40. Get a 18x9 +35. It will stick out farther from the hub and give your car a much more aggressive look/stance.

wheel: 18/8.5 tire: 225/45/18 FRONT
wheel: 18/9.5 tire: 245/40/18 REAR offset: 35mm for front and rear WILL IT FIT?? |
^Fronts will fit fine. Rears will fit on stock suspension. Will need slight roll if lowered.
|
well i do have the tein s techs...
soo then what to you suggest for an offset for the rear..40mm?? |
On second thought. Stay with the +35. If you dial in some negative camber you will be fine.
|
Yea it will fit fine with +35 and 245/40/18 in the rear. You won't need a roll.
