I may be in the minority here but how about:

17x9.5 +38 offset

Tires: 255/45/17 all around

Thanks!

How about these:

Volk GTS 19x8.5 +34 all around with 245/35/19 tires or 245/40/19 tires.

Will they fit without a fender roll or camber adjustment?

I am installing the Tien monoflex coilovers with the EDFC and I want to put 5Zigen's Proracer GN+ 18in. wheels on my car but I don't know what size to go with or the width; they come in 18 x 7.5 8.5 and 9.5 and offsets from +12 to +48! I want the maximum size for performance but don't want them to rub with suspension setup any help will be much appreicated because know don't know much about sizes and offsets on wheels....Thanks!!!!!! I posted this in the wrong place but got asked a couple of questions that might help refine your answers for me....I don't want a straggared setup and the drop of the tein monoflex is 3.6 in front and 1.6 in the rear......Thanks again guys!!!!

Here's what I have

SSR D5R wheels 19 x 9.5 +40 et all around.
My Car has stock suspension.

I can do either 245/35/19 all around. (getting a good deal on General exclaims UHP)

or

245/35/19 f and a 265/30/19 r.

The wheels are not staggered. But the tires can be. I rather not have any rubbing issues and I do not want to get an alignment right now, nor do I wanna rub....you guys have any experience with rubbing in the rear with a 265/30/19?

Thanks in advance
You can do the 265s in the back, but you will rub your fender liner up front with 245s.

i can't say 100% because i have not experienced 17s. but it should be the same as 18s and 19s since the tire is in the same position. give or take a few mm because of the sidewall.

rubbing up front, back should be fine.

245/35/19 and you will be fine without rolling. wont' need too much negative camber either.

for performance:
18x9.5 +45 all around with 275/35/19
it's a very popular combo for people that track and autocross using enkei rpf1's.

but if you are looking to drop your front 3.6 inches, nothing is going to fit...

Would 3.6" drop up front hurt the handling of the car?

hey thx for the info.

I think im just going to stick to non staggered since the wheels are non staggered. Are you sure though about the fronts fender liner rubbing? I thought that would be the least of my concerns.

Also, did you just tell rx8 fanatic that his 245/35/19 +34 will fit fine?
If thats the case, since I have a +40, shouldn't I be ok?

Thanks

255's are on the front if mine with no problems 235's on order though

if ur gonna do taht - make sure your doing it with bags. your going to want to raise the car up easily if you ever want to drive anywhere. granted - ur handling will go straight the window.... but it would look real mean.

had one member in the eastern sub forum who was doin that on, i believe a silver 8. looked sick as hell.

thats a whole other world, and i would advise you really look into it so that when you do it - you know your doing it right.

Just for the record I was not inquiring about dropping my front 3.6". SWVA_RX-8 a few posts back was the person wanting to do that. I know I've read on here it is detrimental to lower the rx-8 too much. I do not know how much is too much though so I asked the question hoping someone would respond with the answer.

im planning to get 19x8.5 rims all around with 245/35/19 tires..
im going to lower the car as well so that there is minimal to no wheel gap left..
what is the best offset to go with that will bring my tire as close to the fender without any mods to the fender?

Just installed my 19 x 9.5 +40et wheels with 245/35/19 all around General UHP tires. The fitment is perfect. I probably coulda done 255 all around or even 265 in the rear without rubbing. My car is not lowered. Love the flush look in the rear. Pretty happy with the setup. I just need to get the car lowered as there is a Gap now, but Tiens will probably take care of that problem

Thanks guys for all your help. I'll put some pictures up today for show and tell in the wheels and tires forum.
