Hey guys.. I'm looking to pick up some new wheels. Need some advice from the experts.

- Daily driven
- Lowered with Eibach Pro Kit (1.2F/0.8R)
- Front Wheels: 18x8.5 40 offset (225/45/18 or 245/45/18 or 225/40/18)
- Rear Wheels: 18x8.5 30 offset (225/45/18 or 245/45/18 or 225/40/18)

Will the rear's rub without cutting or rolling the fenders? Should I stagger or just go with the 30 or 40 offset all around? What size tires should I go with? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

+30 all around with 245/40 https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-multimedia-photo-gallery-6/transformation-my-car-191363/ That is what he is running, but he has 255/40 and that might make it rub depending on camber. Nothing a little fender roll in the rear wouldn't fix.

What size tire are you going to run? Do you want to roll your fenders? Do you want to pull your fenders? You haven't told us much.

ah! i am going to go aggressive. rolling pulling camber. i am putting 225's on bc i have them but will probably go lower later on. i want the wheel sticking out past the fender but have the tire tucked. lower offset better. i was thinking of using wheel spacers from powered by max if i need them... think thats all

I'm sure its been asked more then once but I'm on my phone atm and its harder to search so I will ask here...

Rota torques specs are:
18x8 + 35 wrapped with 245/40/18

My main concern is I'm not comfortable with fender rolling etc... so I would prefer not to do that

yes you will have no trouble fitting those. very conservative. you can get +25 even without rolling fenders

jsm, no one has really done a real aggressive setup with stretched tires, which is almost a shame in some ways, lol.

You're probably looking for something around 18x10 +10 but may even be able to rock a 0 offset with that stretch + full camber + pull. Not so sure about finding that type of fitment with rotas though, I don't know how low their offsets go.

I read through about 30 pages looking to see if someone else asked my question but I don't have the patience to go through all 165.

I have stock 18's and want to find the widest tires I can put on the fronts and rears with out changing the overall diameter of the tire. I currently have 225/45/18 on all 4 which I believe is stock. Car is still stock height and I don't want to run any camber or roll fenders.... Eventually I will lower the car but no more than an inch.

Thanks in advance

A buddy is selling his EVO GSR wheels for next to nothing. Good track wheels?

They are 18x8.5 +38 5x114.3. Does anyone know if the bore size is right?

Evo rims are exactly the same bore size.
Carjunky: Since you don't seem to be racing, don't go beyond 245/40/18. If you are racing, then people have put 295s on the stock wheels.

Ok guys....I HAVE A QUESTION.

Specs: 18x8.5
Offset: +45
Tires: 245/35 - willing to work with 225/35's
Suspension: Stock height - soon to be lowered 1"

CAR: 2010 Mazda 3

Reason i'm asking on this forum: because most of the mazda 3 forums are filled with questions w/no answers. I've only been to 1 forum so far that had one helpful poster but even he hasn't answered my question. I'm just wondering if anybody can provide some insight.

I've heard the 2010's can handle the stock 8's specs so i'm thinkin' it should be too hard right?? or am i off base here??

All I know is you tell them to fit a 9" wide wheel and they all shake their heads and say "whoaaa that's agressive!"

another reason i'd figure i'd ask is because there are forum members on these boards that i can trust know the correct fitments of more than one kind of car. I know some of us know the fitments of nissans, mitsu's and suburu's simply by hearing the specs. I'd figure someone would know something about a sibling car.

Ok so i found out that 18x8.5 +48 w/225/45's work on the series 1 models. I'm thinkin' about running a shorter sidewall(35's) w/a lower offset (+45). This should still work right?? Someone help me out here, i'm drownin'!
