Rota exaggerates the concave of the Grid beyond the concave of the TE37 it is replicating.

so I really dont want to spend hours going to the whole thread trying to find out the information I need.
I found a set of authentic work emotion locally in 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear with 20 mm offset all around.
From what everyone seems to suggest--30mm + for most cases-- I would suspect these wheels will not fit without some modifications. My car is dropped on tein s tech about 1 inch in the front and the rear is about 1/2 an inch drop from stock.

got a weird one for you, i searched but found noth in this offset for the rear:

18x9+40 18x10+50

I know it fits even if that means i have to run 5mm spacers to make it stick out a bit. As for tires,
265/40/18 or is 265/35/18 better for the rear. Car is lowered on JIC coilovers.

and front i guess 255/40/18 will be fine? would it be weird that they are different height than the rear?

thank you all.

255/40 sometimes doesn't work on lowered cars. You may have to go with 245/40.

Is it correct that if the bolt pattern is 5x114.3 and offset is okay, that as long as the bore size is larger than 67.1, the rims should fit right? Thanks.

255/35 works too just smaller OD than necessary in most applications.

9krpmrx8: If the rim fits in offset/width, has 5x114.3 bolt pattern, at least a 67.1mm bore, and is at least 17" in diameter it should fit. What rim is it?

I have an opportunity to pick up some rims for the track off of a new EVO GSR for dirt cheap. I'm not sure on the bore size yet though. They are 18x8.5 5x114.3 and a 38 offset.

They are the same as an rx8. Perfect match. Evo websites are great to find/sell lugnuts, spacers, rims, etc. since they share all the same specs. The evo community is huge so you have better chances. Personally I want the 17" evo 8 rims since tires are cheaper, but those are great too.

I have a set of BBS wheels off of a EVO X MR on the way... 18x8.5, offset of +38.

I've been reading a couple of pages on this thread so 'I know it will fit'...but I couldn't find on this thread if spacers are needed?

Please enlighten me with your knowledge. Much appreciated for any comments.

18x8.5 +38 is pretty conservative and you shouldn't have any problems unless you try to run super wide tires like 275s. For future reference, spacers are needed on wheels that sit further in and not wheels that sit further out.

To add onto J's point. Spacers aren't traditionally needed by us to clear anything. We're not like evo's and 240's that do. Mind you, this is on most applications, not all.

hey man - can you point me to one of the evo sites that you like? evolutionm.net is the only one i've found with any promise regarding the for sale area. and their specs match mazda's?
