I'm looking at WedsSport SA67r

f - 18×9.0 +36
r - 18×10.0 +35

I have MazdaSpeed struts/springs - I just put them on but the front sits higher then the rear, I hope they'll settle. Anyways the rear is tucked about 1/8 inch or so (roughly).

Will I have to roll fenders? Or is it safer to go with:

f - 18×8.0 +45 or +35
r - 18×9.0 +36

Don't know about tires sizes yet, suggestions?

You must say tire sizes!!!!!!!! Also no reason to go staggered.

Kuro-Go with either the 18x9 all around(245/40) or the 18x10 if you want something a little more aggressive and you are willing to roll the fenders.

Redliner-Go with either one of those all around with the same size tires but smaller profile due to the 19" rims. Or staggered if that's what you like.

Looking at running 18x9 wheels along with either 245/40/18 or 255/40/18 tires all around. What would be the best offset to look at getting. Currently have a stock suspension but will more than likely be getting megan racing coilovers and dropping down about 1.5 inches.

One of the wheels that I liked were the buddy club p1 racing sf on raceroots.com. They have a +30 offset.

wheeldude.com also has a lot of 18x8.5 rota wheels. I would probably only run 245/40/18 tires on those. What would be the best offset for those?

for flushness (oh gawd, i'm making up words) purposes

18x9 go with an offset around +30. 245's or 255's should fit w/a roll.

18x8.5 you can get away with +25 w/a roll.

Will they fit?

I have a 2004 RX-8, stock height, no plans on lowering, looking at a set of 18x8.5 + 20 offset with 225/ 40-18 tires.
Will they fit close to flush to the edge of the back fenders? All 4 are the same, will the fronts stick out or rub?
Thanks!
Mike

You can "fit" just about anything stock height but since you won't have any negative camber really, it will likely stick beyond the fender. Tires are the "wrong" profile as well.

Wrong profile? Whats that mean? The rear tires will stick beyond? Or the fronts? Those tires are the ones on the wheels I am looking at. I will probably swap on my 225/ 45s just cause they are brand new. Is this the right profile?
Thanks for the input, just need a bit more clarification.

^Yes 225/45 is the stock size. 225/40 will make your speedo read fast.

Aaahh... duh. LOL. I see what he meant by wrong now. Ya, I know they will be a bit dfferent size, these are on used rims and the tires are almost done so will be putting on my stock size tires. I am just looking for a good fit in the fender wells, with the rears as close to flush as I can get and no rubbing in the front. These are a good deal, so will give up a perfect look to save some $$.
Thanks for the input guys! I need to let the guy know today if I am gonna take them, so if anyone can give me a pic, or just an opinion I will appreciate it.

i've been trying to determine similar. i'm looking for 17X9 on 265/40's.
i like the Prodrive GC-010G's not sure how a +36 offset will work out with varying suspension options.

also the Enkei GTC01 in +40. i dont forsee an problems with it though.

freaking really like the RPF1 TypeII's but they only get as big as 17x7

They will stick beyond the fenders all around. See if the guy will let you mount up a wheel or 2 before you pay (I'm assuming local?) so you can see what it looks like. If he knows you are serious it shouldn't be too much to ask. If your car was lowered pretty good with about -2 camber it would sit really nice but require a fender roll. edit: I'll try to find a picture of a similar spec wheel on a nonlowered car.

Push the wheels another 1/4" out on this one.

Awesome! Thats what I was looking for. Thanks a lot. I dont think that will be bad at all. Yes the wheels are relatively local about three hours away, so I really wanted an idea before I went. I am definately going to bolt two on and check em out. Thanks for the effort!

^9.5's is not too much at all in the fronts. It's what I, as well as lots of other people run...

Will they fit with a 245mm tire or wider...No. You'll need to roll the fenders.

Will this fit on a completely stock 8?

Option 1: front-18x8, offset +30 with 225/45/18 and rear-18x8.5, offset +33 with 245/45/18

Option 2: front-18x9, offset +30 with 245/40/18 and rear-19x10, offset +30 with 265/35/19

If it makes it easier option 1 are the stock rims for a 350z with touring trim and option 2 are the stock rims for a 350z with track trim.

Thanks

First one is the best bet. Option 2 gets pretty aggressive and would require some work not to mention it won't look so good on a completely stock 8.

Thanks j8635621. What do you think about 18x9 +30 with 245 or 255/40/18 all around? If it requires work I'll just do number 1. I'm a lil lazy. I have to replace the front rims since they're warped so I figured I would do the whole set and I like the 350z's style.

Thanks for the input.

18x9 +30 with 245/40 is a good choice. https://www.rx8club.com/members/jantzenrx-8-26284-albums-feb10-photo-shoot-2048/ Shouldn't need a fender roll, but 255/40 may and some people have run into problems if they lower the car with that size.
