Have a good deal for Volk Racing TE37 Mag 18" 8,5J+42, 9.5J+38, what do you think- will it fit on stock suspension and latter on KW Variant 3? Is it good?
Beforehand thankful, Nick.

That's actually a good idea ('cept for thereafter not being able to rotate your wheels).

With a 9.5" rim and +38 offset the rear wheels are flush with the fenders but the front wheels stick out a bit. A +42 on the front should make them flush as well.

I'm sure it's been asked before, but this is a LONG thread.

'04 6 Speed

Suspensions Changes: Lowered on H&R sports. (On stock wheels and tires, NO wheel gap)

F: 19X8.5 +45
R: 19X9.5 +45

a set of tires in mind..

F: 225/40/19
R: 255/35/19

Any Suggestions or comments would be great.
If i need to roll fenders, not an issue.

^No you don't need to roll fenders. That will fit no problem. But why not just go 9.5 all around with 255's...

Any idea on how close the tires will sit to the fenders?

This is more for a certain look then performance. I have a set of wheels set aside for throwing it around.

Thanks for the quick response!

Impossible to say how close to the fenders the tires would be when you haven't said the amount of camber you run.

8.5+42 isn't flush in the front at stock height. 9.5 +42 is pretty close though. edit: Small differences in offset front to rear like that are one reason to use spacers. 10mm Project Kics spacers with the built-in studs DO work with the rims me and you have btw. Just found that out yesterday.....pictures to follow once I clean up the car.

^Yes, I was referring to 9.5 +42 as being closer to front - flush.

And yes, better to use spacers and thereby maintain the capability of rotating your tires, in this case all 9.5 +42 and use spacers only in the rear.

Tire size? How much do you want to lower? You haven't given us all the info we need.

SBD that is basically like asking if the stock wheels will fit. Yes.

Schartz that will fit no problem. 245/40 for the front and 265/35 or 275/35 in the back. Will need the rear fenders rolled more than likely.

^ I actually saw some Enkei RP03's for sale w/ tires.

19x8.5 +42 offset all around. It's on a TL. I'm guessing these would fit perfectly on an 8 uh? No adjustments needed?

^What ever you want. I'm assuming you did all the work to the 1/4 we were talking about, since you aren't that low, shouldn't have problems with most sizes.

1 was thinking 245-40-r19 all around would give a nice stretch look. I droped the car a littel more on the coilovers. The front has about a sideways Iphone clearance, and the rear is sitting on the tires. I finally got around to shaving that piece imput on the rear.

Has ANYONE seen 17X9 GC-010G's on an RX-8?

I am having a lot of trouble confirming they will clear brakes. I'm looking at 17X9 +36(as long as suspension allows the offest, otherwise +44)

I'm not wheel savvy, but i can measure brakes. so anyone who can tell me wtf to get the details specs on the wheels gets a gold star, i cant find ****

I'm sure it's a typo, but get 245/35 if anything.
