+1 w/Huey regarding fender rolling
Doc: 18x8.5 +35 is fine. If i may suggest, use 245/40 instead of 235's on the fronts. The rears should be fine just remember to roll those fenders. |
245/40 is better for the front imo. edit: Lol Atilla beat me to it.

Searched 18x10 in this thread, but couldn't find what I was looking for.
18x10+38, 265/35/18 on STOCK suspension. have access to an 8 and was hoping to try it out for autox on Sunday. so far that sizing & tire requires rolling/pulling the rears, but that's lowered. stock suspension compresses enough that i'll have to do it? course layout will typically be a lower speed, tighter course. thanks guys! |
Nice specs
That'll fit on stock spension but you may want to roll your fenders anyways just incase you have a full car or at full load. Just in case. They also will poke out if you're running stock. Do you have plans on lowering?? |
Nope, not going to lower - it's not my car. Only reason I'm using my wheels on it is because the current tires (OEM) are old and hardened. :D
But thanks for the feedback! |
ok im kind of in a rush to get these tires so sorry if the question was asked twice...
i just got my wheels in 18x9.5 in the rear... IYO should i get a 245 or 265? |
need offset
|
holy crap, i just noticed you joined this forum back in 03'!
lol - sorry, random i know /offtopic |

lol sorry i have no idea about tire fitment. |
Roxie: roll your fenders. any option for 255's?? You can probably push 265's.

lol - sorry, random i know /offtopic yup, the 8 has been around for awhile (sisters car). :ylsuper: |
yeah roll and camber for Roxie
|
fenders will prob get rolled...
if i do the 265 am i gonna have poke? |
nope - as long as your car is lowered and slightly cambered.
p.s. - random fact, in my language, poke means penis  so your post made me lol |
lol atilla...i def meant penis by that. im def lacking in that area...
i hope. haha and im lowered on springs. i have some unplanned camber going on right now so i may get a corrective camber kit. |
:yelrotflm @ 'nilla
*edit* you answered before I got my post out! I'd suggest a 245 for maximizing performance based on size plus it will stretch the tire more to require minimum fender roll if anything. Our cars have adjustable camber btw, so you shouldn't need to buy a kit to adjust it.. |
 yeah my bad - my mind strays quickly and my initial reaction was just laugh
anyways, no need for camber kits (i don't even think they make one for us??) Just have an alignment done and you're set to go. :bigok: |
thank you guys. i think i may do the 265 then!
i love my 8club buddies!!! |
we love you too roxie. . . .
*clicks on photoalbums* :suspect: |
'nilla, you're becoming to predictable... gotta mix it up here n there.
 |
so i wanna know if i can fit this setup 19x10+5 front and 19x11-10 with 215/35r19 in front and 225/35r19 rear :]
|
yeah you def need to step your game up bud.
|
