Thinking about a set of RE11's in 245/40/18 on the stock rims for street tire autocross. Will I run into any problems with fit? I'm new to the RX8 world, moved over from the RX7 world.

You shouldn't. From tire calculator sites I believe the stock rim (18x8) is the min. width to use for a 245. Should be fine.

ok last time lol.

I'm finally set on getting the MRR GT1 in hyper silver for my WWP. here are the specs, For the offset, i saw that they are both 45! I'm wondering how the tires will look on the car with a tein-s drop. Will they both be flush in the front and rear? Thank yall so much for the advice and gained knowledge! "DOC"

Okay, So I want to run a set of Enkei PF01's, 18x8 all around with a +40 offset and either 235/40 or 235/45 tires. I'll be dropping the car on H&R springs (i would go lower but New England roads wont have it). My dealer told me that it will probably rub and I'd like to avoid having to roll the fender. My question of course is, Will it Fit? or do I have to go with a +45 offset? Can I stagger the offset to 45 in the front and 40 in the back, or 45 all around with 18x8.5's in the back? I realize its a lot of questions, I appreciate any help you guys could give.

That is no where near rubbing and your "dealer" doesn't know wtf it's talking about. You can run 9.5 +45 with 275s all around and no problems. Get 245/40/18 tires regardless of your choice (8-8.5 wide) and don't stagger anything.

Dude, I'm running 18x9.5 with a 45 offset and 255/40-18s and lowered it an 1" with stance coilovers and I have no rub what so ever. I'm not even close to rubbing, no fender pulls or rolling.

I have some 18x9.5 +30 wheels with 265/35-18s from my other car, will they fit? Fender roll necessary?

Car will be modestly lowered on coilovers -- not slammed.

And definitely do some work on the plastic and tabs inside the wheel well in the back. My 9.5 +28 with 245s required a little bit of work and I have -2.2ish camber.

How about +35 with the same dimensions?

I bet you would be fine with minimal plastic trimming if any. It's really not hard or bad.

wait wait wait...did you say that you have tein's in the front and stock in the rear?? wtf?? i gotta ask why??

btw, we need offset of the wheels in order to tell you what kinda tires you can run - without offset, your question will remain unanswered...

315's??!?

umm sure, if you had aftermarket fenders n' a really high offset

if you go 18x10 you can possibly run 285's if the offset is around +45

best i can think of off the top of my head considering the question you're asking.

You can get up to a 9 +30 and be fine. Any lower than +30 is iffy.

that questions belongs in the aggressive fitment thread

245's should work w/a full roll or shave, slight pull and camber work.
