Wheel Style - Rota P45
Wheel Diameter (Inches) - 19" Wheel Width (Inches) - 9F, 10R" PCD Bolt Pattern - 5X114.3 Offset - 20mm Will it fit? Car isn't lowered yet but I plan on throwing in s-techs. Gonna be throwing on new tires of course. |
Wheel Style - Stock Series 2 18"
Wheel Diameter (Inches) - 18" Wheel Width (Inches) - Stock Suspension - Koni Yellow w/ Tein H Tech Hey, felt like this may be a better place than opening up a new thread. This is not so much a "will it fit" vs "will it fit well for daily driving" aka speed bumps and such? I have the stock S2 suspension now and looking to upgrade to the yellows w/ the h tech. Thanks guys |

Gonna be throwing on new tires of course. At stock height, they will fit but will look ridiculous. It'll poke out like crazy. IMO, lower it first. The offset is quite aggressive so a flat roll and pull will be necessary w/some camber work and stretched tires. If you got the time, money and understanding, i say go for it. If not, then i wouldn't advise it.

I will skim the S2 threads to see if anyone makes a mention of this, sorry. |
Many people daily on Koni's + S-tech, so Koni's + H-tech should be cake.

I'm a massive noob when it comes to wheels and such, but I suppose we all had to start somewhere.
My question being, how well would 18x9 +41 TE37s fit? |
suspension and tire sizes??
my initial response: it'll fit no problem |
Well I'm on S.Techs right now, will change to coilovers in the near future. As for tires, I'm not too sure what would go well with the TE37s. Got any suggestions Atilla?
|
Yeah, you can go with 255's (either 35-40 sidewall depending on preference) and roll the fenders (not really needed tho)
|
I see. How flush would it be vs +35 offset?
|
Alright let's try this again. Thanks for the advice, Atlilla; decided to keep away from that offset lol.
Thinking of getting the Varrstoen TE37 replica. The specs are 18x9 +41, all around. Would I have any problems straight-up replacing my current rims with these; same tires and everything? Also, would this setup work with a 2 inch drop? |
IMHO, the best offset for 18x9 is around +28 to +31 and 245's
That's for standard flush fitment. For hellaflush or more aggressive you can go down to +25 or even lower w/a stretched tire and some camber. |
grog, yeah, those will fit no problem w/the standard 245/40's or 35's.
|
Great advice, thank you Atilla.
|
:werd:
enjoy and post pic's! |

^it'll work - a bit much on the stretch and a lil' tall on the sidewall but shouldn't matter as it may stretch to your benefit.
btw, random - felt like sharing this with those of us who aren't really looking for too aggressive http://www.coolstickersbro.com/wp-co...sortaflush.jpg |
On a similar note...
http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4138/...17f90a4b_b.jpg I got these pretty cheap. Don't think they are gonna go on my car, but I have my eye on a couple around town that need graffiti'd. |
Wheel Style - Enkei RPF1
Wheel Diameter (Inches) - 18" Wheel Width (Inches) - 8.5F, 9.5R PCD Bolt Pattern - 5X114.3 Offset - +30mmF, +15mmR Haven't decided on tires, the question is.. will it fit? Car is currently sitting on tociko coilovers |
Those rears are gonna be way more aggressive than the front and by aggressive I mean stick out past the fenders.
|
Diameter: 18
Width: 9.0 Offset: +30, on all four wheels. These are Rota D2 wheels. I've heard that a +30 offset all-around can be very good looking, but I haven't heard of how difficult it is to pull off. I don't think I'll have any problems throwing them inside of my 225/45 tires, and I don't think I'll have any rubbing issues either, but I think I might have problems if I'm looking to drop my car. I don't think I'll be going lower than a Tein S-Tech drop; will I have any rubbing problems with this offset? |
You definitely won't have any problems with 225s, but most people run 245s and still don't have a problem. It's definitely a good setup that is pretty close to flush but not overly aggressive either.

I have/had P45R 18x9.5 with 255's on all four corners. I'm on coilovers with about atleast a 1.5 drop all the way around. I scrape my bumper everywhere but the wheels fit perfectly with no rubbing. This is probably the max size I would go with at this height.
