still some clearance. The Reverend is running 18x10 +30 and still has some clearance. I'm certain 18x10 +40 or +38 shouldn't be a problem after some rolled fenders and some slight camber.

^should fit w/roll, camber n' possibly light pull. IMO, you could probably fit some 245's too.

275/35 Well that is what I would go with and it is most likely too much tire for N/A and you will be slower acceleration-wise

I have 18x7.5 5x114.3 +48 with 225/45/18. Would that look weird on a RX8?
I plan to upgrade to wider rims later down the road but for the meantime will this work?
