It really shouldn't, but those are wider tires so maybe but I'm 98% sure it won't. If it does, get your fenders rolled and put 5mm spacers all around and you are golden. Nice choice.

If you do rub it will be minimal
You should get 18x10 +36 to get that really concave face. |
+1 that would look best for sure but roll the fenders so you can put a fat tire on it.

Ok.. SOOOOO....
here comes that question... I have a set of 17x8 and 17x9 Volks Racing Wheels from the 1990s GR.CV (directly from Japan) that I had on my FC then to a FD.. now... I want to put on my SE (I know these rims have gone through the lines of Rotaries, but I love them).... SO... I believe I have +5mm spacer in the front and +10mm spacer in the rear. When it was on my FC & FD. Question now WILL IT FIT on the SE3P. I did some calculation ... only way to have about the same diameter of my stock 18" is to have 255/45s with a -.2% difference. Am I gonna clear? I want to keep it non-stagger, because with the calculation anything other than 255/45s I have a huge change in the diameter (unless someone knows how to recal the speedometer :D ) Sorry I don't know know the offset off hand right now... |
Use this and I will help you
1. Is the car an rx8? If no, go somewhere else. 2. Is the car not stock height? If no, then explain. 3. Have the fenders been modified in any way? If no, are you willing to modify the fenders? 4. Please state wheel width, offset, and diameter. 5. Please state the proposed tire width and profile. 6. Is the hub size 67.1mm or larger? 7. Is the bolt pattern 5x114.3 aka 5x4.5"? From now on, you must answer all those questions or I will tell you to go screw yourself. |
rx8
hey guys i have an 2004 rx8 no mods except mags. the mags are 18 inch x 9 with 35+ offset. The tire are 245/40ZR18 (so 40 profile height) my question is am i able to lower the car without rubbing also what should i setup should i get.(springs vs adjustibles)(and any that have doesn't change how the car drive by much). Thanks

Yea so I got some rims that were once on a Jeep Cherokee. I'm not sure what year Jeep or how they fit on that Jeep, but I'd like to know if it will sit flush on my stock suspension RX8? I don't want to roll my fenders and I want to lower my car approximately 6.5" come summer time. Also, what size tires can I run? Thanks.

so i got thes rims at the swapmeet dope ass cromez the rimss have 255s but the bulge like a donut they are 20s will they fit

OK, my turn to ask:
1.- Yes, 2006 RX8 2.- Stock height 3.- They have not been modified, "maybe" I would be willing to modify them (rather not). 4.- Work VS-XX. Front 18x8.0; Rear 18x8.5 +45mm. 5.- It has 235/40R18 in the front. In the back, the previous owner left the original tires, 225/45R18. These, need to be replaced pretty soon. Originally I was thinking on going with the same size as in the front, but since the wheels are thicker, should I go 245/40R18? Do you recommend any other size? 6.- 67.1 7.- Bolt pattern 5-114.3 Thanks! Maui

Those are rather mediocre offsets and will fit without a problem. I'd say put 245/40 all around when possible. Thanks for actually using the form.

Can anyone tell me what the minimum offset I could get away without doing a fender roll for 235/40-18 tires would be?
Everything is stock layout. |
you need rim sizes not tires sizes buddies
|
Will 235/55/17 fit?
I'm thinking of buying these for my winter setup. |
Are people just making fake accounts to f with me?
|
no :uhh:
|
we should close the thread and not help its simple math lol

That's what Im looking for. with a tire that's 235/40-18 Im assuming itd be ony about an 8 width, but If I got a 0 offset I would assume that would require getting it rolled. nvm 4get it Ill just go with 35 |

I have officially retired from this thread. I will only post in here to make fun of someone who asks a stupid question (unless it gets locked).
