Will go the +35. Don't like watching guards being pulled so don't want to do that to my car.

Just wanted to say thanks for the help. I ended up going with 18x9.5 +30 all around on 265/35 tires.

You told him that for +35. He got +30. I have 245s and rub there at +28. Maybe I'm a freak.

Those will fit but won't be much fun without tires.

Other guy-I don't have snow so I can't tell you. Find out the offset though.

What's the offset? They should fit fine if the offset is +40 or lower. Both center bore's are the same at 67.1.

Tire offset is 45. Is that a no go as well as the EVO wheels?

thanks

Which tire size would I need to run with 17" Wheels that have a 40 mm offset? the car will be lowered a bit on mazdaspeed suspension.
Thanks!

Also be more specific than Mazdaspeed suspension. Is it the strut/spring combo or the coilovers? If it is the coilovers say how much lower you are or show a picture.

Snow tire guy, I'm not sure what to tell you with regards to if those fit or not. Maybe ask someone with a lot of posts from Canada or something? lol

Are those for snow tires too? If so, I don't think anyone that frequents this thread can help you. It's brake clearance that bothers me more than anything else. I know 18x10.5 +43 fits fine so 17x7 +40 should clear by inches on the inside and outside.

It means the wheel face will be 8mm closer to your brakes than OEM. Go measure on the OEM wheels the distance between the brake caliper and the wheel face. If it's more than 8mm then those wheels will fit.
