you have to watch the DSM wheels, depending on the model of car and style of wheel, several of those vehicles came with a mag shank style, torque retention lug on them and there for would require OEM lug nuts from the vehicle they came from in order to work on any car at all.

Me personally,

18x9.5 +45et f/r Enkei RpF1 in black

275-35-18 f/r

stock suspension for now. looking at tokico d-spec/h and r sport combo.

No not for snow tires. I know most people on here go for wider wheels but I want to run super light wheels at least for this year so Im going with a set of Konig Daylites which only weigh 14.5.

Well you can run whatever tire you want pretty much. The wheel width is gonna stop you before the car. Reasoning behind a smaller contact patch? Are you a hypermiler?

If you dont care about grip anymore, get some 165/55/17 civic tires. I bet you could get 30mpg

After doing a bit of research I'm going to go with a set
Of 18x8 enkei rpf1. I already have a new set of 225/45/18 tires
So that will save me the cost of buying new tires

224/45

You do know that those tires will be very stretched and be running outside the manufacturers specifications for approved wheel width right?

Those are too tall. 235/40 rolled fenders, trim plastic in the rear, and maybe a slight pull. Also you better be slmed to the ground or it's gonna look retarded.

Hey guys, I dropped the bomb and did it....
Bought Wedsport SA55M 18 x 9.0 +36 on Direzza Star Spec Z1 245/40. I very much hope that all the advice given here regarding fitment is going to work for me (i.e. no rub, no fender rolling, no bottoming out on plastic tab/liners while hard cornering etc...). Crossing my fingers. Thank you very much for all the patience and wisdom.

I'm lowered on Eibach Prokit + Bilstein B8 shocks. I will post pics when I install them in spring. They're shipping sometime in March.

225/60/R18 on stock wheels/suspension???

I'm looking at a set of winter tires for my 8......The size is 225/60/18. I'm on stock 18x8 wheels with stock suspension. My concern is the height of the tire.....I'd be going from a 45 to a 60 on the stock wheels/suspension....Will this still fit???? Thanx!!!!

I think it would be able to fit on the car, but the tire is 2.66 inches taller than stock, giving me the impression that you'll rub on the inside liners under cornering. Also, your speedo would be WAY off, like by 10%.

Hi, I have a simple question that I know has a simple answer:

If I keep the stock suspension AND wheels (18s) what's the widest I can go?

I don't want them too thin (30?) I just want the car to look like the stock tire/wheels but WIDER.

what's the number before I get fender rolling etc?.

18x9.5 +45 with 275/35/18 tires.

Edit: Do you mean keep the stock wheels? Sorry now Im confused what you are asking. You want to add a spacer? Wider tires?
