That's why I was thinking the 255/35 in the rear... but what to do with the front. Gotta do some calculations...

J8635621 01-24-2011 11:17 AM

245/40 all around is what you will end up doing. Maybe 255/40 in the back but it's not really worth it imo.

phrenetiK 01-24-2011 11:22 AM

ok, sounds good. for 245/40 do i need to shave the rear tab?

J8635621 01-24-2011 11:24 AM

It'll be close. It isn't hard and we can help you out on the barbecue day.

phrenetiK 01-24-2011 11:27 AM

alright. now i just need to find the right 10mm spacer and 5mm spacer >_>

bonus points if anyoen can find a 5mm spacer that will work. idk if i need one with new lugs or since 5mm is so small are they fine by themselves?

J8635621 01-24-2011 11:48 AM

hold on ill find you some

5mm http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/5MM-W...Q5fAccessories

10mm search evolutionm.net and other evo forums for 10 mm project kics or similar with the studs built in.

phrenetiK 01-24-2011 12:41 PM

those 5mm dont work? they dont say 114.3 at least

phrenetiK 01-24-2011 12:49 PM

nvm

J8635621 01-24-2011 03:53 PM

lol They are on my car and work fine.

Enkei RP05 and Hankook Ventus V12

I'm having a fair bit of trouble sorting this out, just trying to find the widest Hankook Ventus V12 tires I can use with stock suspension and what size of RP05 rim I would need, I will roll the fender if I must as I am aiming to have the tire poke out from the fender, which means I will probably need to stretch the tire

SO I'm looking for the easiest aggresive setup I can get from that combo
Thanks for helping!

The Reverend 01-26-2011 11:38 AM

on stock suspension that will look bad

J8635621 01-26-2011 12:30 PM

+7 on that.

socompro 01-26-2011 02:38 PM

what tire would go well with a 19x10 wheel?

socompro 01-26-2011 02:39 PM

someone told me a 245-35-19 would fit

J8635621 01-26-2011 03:21 PM

you forgot a few things

Brandonien 01-26-2011 03:30 PM

Well sticking with the RP05 idea, I'm still aiming to get an aggresive fit, with either 18 or 19's which rim size and wrap would look good on stock suspension...

J8635621 01-26-2011 03:37 PM

You're seriously gonna make us look it up? At least please show us the wheel sizes.

Brandonien 01-26-2011 03:44 PM

Brandonien 01-26-2011 03:46 PM

I have zero experience with this and I understand the offset but I would prefer to get it right the first time and hell I can post the results and pics for you guys as well..

J8635621 01-26-2011 03:49 PM

19x9.5 +40 and then the tire is kinda hard because 275 or 265 isn't stretched like you want, 255/35 may be too tall if you ever lower it, 255/30 will look RETARDED, and 245/35 is unnecessary but it works. I have 245s on my 9.5 wide rims and it looks ok to me, granted I'm lowered a bit and have +28 offset. I think those prices are a bit high btw.

Brandonien 01-26-2011 03:49 PM

PS the pdf of the wheel sizes and spec on Enkei's site are not working for the rp05

The Reverend 01-26-2011 03:53 PM

if you can find some 19x9.5 +30 with 275/30/19 it might stick past the fender a little bit on stock height

Brandonien 01-26-2011 03:57 PM

it was a reference page for prices since the enkei site wasn't working :S I wouldn't buy there :P thanks though

J8635621 01-26-2011 04:01 PM

It will stick past the fender FOR SURE. +40 will likely be even with the fender at stock height. I have pics Rev if you don't believe me.

Brandonien 01-26-2011 04:04 PM

ok so if I went with the 19x9.5 +30 rp05's I could fit 265/30/19's and it would be slightly stretched I think... at least more then the 275's and IF I have to I could use 5mm spacers to push it just a little more...

So if I go with that I shouldn't run into problems with rubbing or anything weird correct, any suggestions by all means, thats why I'm here
