Did they measure it on the same width of wheel? Are they comparable tires or is one a "racing" type?

Unfortunately most just list section width and then in a separate column they have recommended rim width.

Well, if you look at my table above you will see that the width of different 265/35-18's varies (almost an inch). Tanabe drop is pretty close to Tein S techs. I don't think a roll would be necessary either way though with a +35 offset.

Yes, spacers for what? Those specs are pretty close to stock. They will fit fine.

Let me guess, Toyos, Falkens, and Dunlops run narrow while Hankooks, Pirellis, and Yokohamas run wide?

I'm probably off, as it should also differ on the specific tire model (i.e. a 245/40/18 Dunlop Direzza DZ101 will run more narrow than a 245/40/18 Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec). Keep in mind sidewall and shoulder design will also affect how stretched a tire looks/fits.

You know your stuff my man (for the most part ). And you are exactly right on the same size tires being different between models. For example, I am having a vibration in my wheels so I put a pair of Yokohama I had in the garage on one if the wheels and it fixed the vibration issue for the most part. I will be getting replacements under the tire warranty but what I noticed is how the Yokohama is not as stretched even though it's the same size.

But what bugs me the most is how my tires handle now that they are stretched. They feel like different tires. I will be stepping up to 265/35-18.

Ive asked something similar before but im dying to have 10 in the rear. And i know either Ross or J will give me **** for this (sorry) but i know you guys said 19x10.5 +22 in the rear will be pretty tough to fit without alot of work. A small difference but will 19x10 +25 be a bit better ?? I just want to be able to fit it with a roll and a bit of camber. I dont want pulling or shaving tabs. I can also get these with +35 but i want aggressive and im afraid itll be too sunk. I want a flush look. Once again sorry i know im a horrible monster that should be killed i promise this is the last spec i ask.

To give you an idea of the look im going for is this and if possible a bit less camber in the rear.
