I dont know what make the wheels are, all I know they are tire size 275/30/19 and the offset is +45. O would assume 10inch wheel. There use on kijiji. and the fronts are tirse size 225/40/18 and offset +43. I am more concerned if the makes will fit with out a fender roll. the car is stock height.

let me get this right? you are suggesting i run 245/40 or 265/35 in the front with the tire i have now which are 255/40. No disrespect J8635621 -.- but you are the on who told me to o with those tires, after i told you my rim size and drop. And, now your saying different

I'm confused......You have 18x9.5 +30 all around with 235/40 in the front and 255/40 in the back? Lowered on tanabe gf210, right?

Here is your definitive answer and there is no need to ask again ever : being lowered and having 255/40 in the front on those wheels will most likely require the front fender liner to be cut and the metal behind it to be bent/hammered/something so that it doesn't rub when you turn. It has been done but is not necessary if you have a tire that is slightly shorter, ie 245/40, 255/35, 265/35, or even 275/35. Those last two are close to not fitting and be prepared for fender rolling/pull. Tire height is not as big an issue in the rear since those aren't used for turning. Also being on a shock/spring setup is not the best for an aggressive fitment like those last 2 as it is softer than coilovers.
As time has gone on, I've learned a few new things. My answer now is better and takes precedence over all my prior posts on the subject.

i know tires but what fits a car without rubbing i do not, i ask those who know from trial and error.

So what are you saying? 255/35 is the best tire for my setup? All around? fr and rr
And my qestion first of all why am i rubbing in the back because i have my fenders rolled and i trimmed the plastic piece off enough, I hear this weird squeal, squeak.

No I can't tell you what is best for you, only what will work. edit: Quite a few people were saying that would work back then fwiw. Now that I've seen more cars trying to run setups similar to that, I don't suggest it any more. You might get super lucky and have it not rub on the metal part, but that isn't something I can guesstimate over the internet.

Sounds like they are good for track/autocross.. but unfortunately I was gonna get them for daily driving.. so, what do you guys think, not recommended?

I told you all the tires that could fit within reason all around. Also, you must not have trimmed that tab off enough in the back if that is what's rubbing. We are merely guessing that is what is still rubbing. We can't see, feel, or hear it like you can.

You sound frustrated, Thought this was where you come and get help? you told me a setup while back and now you dont recomended it, and thats cool but you dont have to get all sarcastic and superior because you've been on the forum longer then me, I appreciate the help. I was just calling you out what you had said, we all make mistakes, theirs not awhole lot of Rx8 with aggresive wheels and tires or mods running around where i'm from.

I guess another way to phrase this: how much less durable as, a daily driver, are the tires (265/35/18) compared to stock one (I believe, 225/45/18)? -- important question that'll factor into my purchase decision.

I'm not frustrated and don't mean to sound like a dick or anything. I just don't want there to be confusion.
Tedo - size isn't affecting the durability. It's the fact those are meant for the track and have a low treadwear rating. It's hard to say a specific number of miles, but they will probably last 1/2 as long as the stock tires. At his price, you are basically getting tires for $200. Just use those and then get 245/40 tires with a treadwear closer to 300 next time.

The more i read this thread. The more i come to a conclusion. This thread should be called "What will fit without fender modifications" Cause obviously anything can fit *looks at Tiltmode*, but its about how much work you are willing to do on your fenders. This is why many people get confused. When you post, post your wheel specs, tire specs, what you are lowered on, and what you are willing to do to make them fit.
We should have another thread just for wheels that will fit without fender modifications. Then the answers can be a simple yes or no and then suggestion can be given for what will fit without fender mods. Just my thoughts.

I was going to buy some Volk Racing TE-37's to replace my old GT-7s
Was looking at 19x9.5 +22 Or +33 Rear
With +22 or +33 Front
Tire sizes are 265/30/19 Rear
245/35/19 front
Car is currently on a +43 front and a 38+ Rear Lowered on HKS Hipermaxx RS with no rubbing. Hoping that changing the offset will make the wheels mount a little bit more flush
