suspension and fender mods?
|
Lowered prolly 1 inch maybe a little more on coils. No fender rolling or anything yet
|
9.5 +22 is suited more for 245s and the +33 is more for 265s (all around btw). Lower the car, the better it will look.

so should I go +22 in the front and +33 in the rear? I was hoping to use my tires because they are brand new. :( |
If you base multi-thousand dollar decisions on a few hundred dollars then go for it. Fenders will need rolled also.

The sizes are staggered so wont a 245 on a 9.5 wheel be quite a stretch? |

The amount of stretch will ultimately depend on the actual width of the tire which is different between manufacturers/models of tire, and it will be a little different with 19s since the sidewall isn't as tall.

The more i read this thread. The more i come to a conclusion. This thread should be called "What will fit without fender modifications" Cause obviously anything can fit *looks at Tiltmode*, but its about how much work you are willing to do on your fenders. This is why many people get confused. When you post, post your wheel specs, tire specs, what you are lowered on, and what you are willing to do to make them fit.
We should have another thread just for wheels that will fit without fender modifications. Then the answers can be a simple yes or no and then suggestion can be given for what will fit without fender mods. Just my thoughts. |
There has been a committee and we discussed many options. It has been determined that it doesn't matter how easy we make it, there will be stupid questions forever so there is no reason to make multiple threads. It is best to try and contain it all in one place.
|
One thread is enough - if you do your research/homework, you should be able to determine. If not, post up and your questions will be answered.
Indeed, there is a difference between what "will" fit and what "can" fit  |
Okay so I am standing right in front of some SEXY ccw classic rims with tires for $1500! if you guys know these rims this is a steal! Will they fit? They look very wide but why not try. I don't know the offset but The front tires are 315/30/18 and the rear are 335/35/17. Fender rolling pulling? Will they fit!?
|
That's exactly what I'm talking about. EXACTLY. Could there be less important information in that? Not really.
|
no !!!! the tyres dont fit theyre to wide.............troll?

A wider tire = more contact to the road = better cornering. 245 = 245mm wide.

hey guys, sorry if im being stupid or not doing this properly, but i'm in need of information QUICK.
I have an 04 6 speed. im looking at a set of rims right now that i can only get in 18x9.5 +40 offset. will these fit on stock suspension with out any modifications needing to be done? also will they fit with coil overs (HSD) as i am going to be purchasing them soon. lastly what tires would be recommended with them that will require no modifications to wheel wells or fenders. |
