Yes they will fit. 265mm or lower tires will fit (265/35/18)

1001% sure

Use 245/40/18 if you want a bit more MPG but less cornering ability.

Whoooohoooo!

Going to order these within the next week or so.

Wheel F/R (159 per)
225/40ZR19

Rim F/R (190 per)
19x9 with either 35 or 45 offset

This is for a 2009 R3. Do you guys think it's worth it?

J8635621 03-30-2011 06:55 AM

+35 with 245/35/19. It looks like you are getting cheap stuff. I don't like cheap stuff, so I'd say no it is not worth it.

Kurogane 03-30-2011 02:27 PM

That's a tire...

Kurogane 03-30-2011 07:11 PM

lol that's wat i meant

J8635621 03-30-2011 07:15 PM

I already told you what would probably be best. It's up to you to take my advice or not.

RX8inSTL 03-31-2011 12:55 PM

Ok guys im about 90% sure these would be my best tire sizes to go with, but just wanted to double check this is right.

Wheel sizes are 19x8 +30 f and 19x8.5 +33r
Figured the stock R3 tire size is good so 225/40 correct? and then for the rears I wanted to run 235/40 but there arent many choices in that size so I am thinking a 245/35 is what would be best.

Basically the only real question is would it be very stretched looking if I just ran the same tires front and rear? Its only a half inch difference and im thinking if I run the 245s it may be too big looking even though I know it will fit.

I dont think I will have any rubbing issues, just lowered on S-techs.

Also sorry if im being somewhat unclear, just want to know what the best tire size will be for a stock look.

245/35 all around on your 350z/g35 wheels

Ross_Dawg 03-31-2011 02:23 PM

350z wheels are 18's I thought...

J8635621 03-31-2011 02:38 PM

The Rays are 19" I think. The split spoke ones.

RX8inSTL 03-31-2011 02:49 PM

^Exactly

Rays > XXR

J8635621 03-31-2011 03:16 PM

245/35 for the front and same for rear or maybe 255/35. Its up to you.

RX8inSTL 03-31-2011 03:30 PM

Alright well I have a little time to decide.

I think these wheels should look pretty damn good.

paporx8 03-31-2011 08:11 PM

hey guys im riding on stock height/suspension. Was thinking bout 18x9.5 + 30 all around. You guys think this is a good setup ?

paporx8 03-31-2011 08:13 PM

sorry and the tires 245/40/18 all around ! any suggestions ?

J8635621 03-31-2011 08:21 PM

It will be outside the fender and look like poop

paporx8 03-31-2011 08:27 PM

any suggestions than ? should i go with 18X9 +30 or 18X8.5 +30. Im looking around for peoples suggestions. and of course i would appreciate pictures of their setups to get a clear view

paporx8 03-31-2011 08:30 PM

i just want them to sit nice and flush. I dont race or track my car.

J8635621 03-31-2011 09:05 PM

Flush and stock height doesn't really go together. I'd say 8.5 +30 with 245/40 if you really aren't going to lower the car.

Ross_Dawg 03-31-2011 10:20 PM

+1 on 8.5 +30

FungsterRacing 04-01-2011 12:08 AM

I'm thinking of getting new tires on the stock 18's.... Was thinking 245/40/18 for front and 265/40/18 for back. Will these fit properly and look good?

(I could go for 45's as well... all are flexible, those are just some numbers that I was looking for)

TeamRX8 04-01-2011 12:12 AM

wtf, get 245/40-18 all around

staggered wheels/tires are FTMFL losers ....
