Also quick question, when comparing different size wheels and different offsets i know different size wheels and different offsets can stick out the same amount sometimes. My quesiton is does wheel diameter (ex. 18 vs 19) have any effect when comparing how much a wheel will stick out to the other ??

In other words will a 18x9.5 +37 stick out as much as a 19x9 +29 ???
I just saw a 18x9.5 +37 set up and i love how it sticks out. Would a 19x9 +29 stick out as much ? Or more ?? I wouldnt mind it sticking out a little bit more. Thanks |
maybe the roads really are that bad in Toronto.. I'm going to have to advocate to people that 18 x 9.0 +36 on a lowered setup will incur slight rubbing The rubbing is mostly happening on larger dips are higher speeds, and certain mall/gas/parking lot entrances with a bad curb.
I guess Toronto really has a lot of bad curbs and bad roads at the moment. It's really really really bad out here. The rub seems to be on the plastic tab though instead of the fender lip. I am running -2.2 front and -1.8 rear camber. |
That doesn't rub for 99% of people.

https://farm6.static.flickr.com/5025...031821df_z.jpg 18x9.5 +23 with 245/40s all around. Easily doable, but front sticks out too much for me. I might go +23 rear and +28 front or +28 all around. Not sure |

Nope, it doesn't affect poke or inset.
The 19x9 +29 will have 1.6mm more poke than the 9.5's |
7mm is noticeable in terms of fitment to the initiated.
^ hmm. I dont know anymore :( lol.
Btw looks good J. To me it doesnt stick out too much, probably just right. If you have more pics post away especially from different angles. |
Get the plus 29 and then spacers if you want more. I might take some more pictures.
Lookin good buddy... you get your rears pulled?
Nah it's the same as when you saw it. I'm sure it'll rub on that damn tab. I need to go on a tool run anyways so I'll get a file or dremel.

Yea hellaflush isn't the best setup for grip lol. Ended up going 9.5 +23 in the back and +28 up front. I'll wash my car again soon and take a couple pictures
Sounds good ... cant wait :smoker:
doesn't work
ah damn, I have to post it here individually. This sucks..
or upload them to a real site instead of facebook
I tried searching but couldn't find the answer to this:
Would 285 / 30 / 18 tires on stock rims fit alright without me having to roll my fender? And if I have to roll... how much? |
Are you autocrossing?
I wouldn't reccomend that... that would have an extremely soft sidewall and greater chance of the tire failing.
Yes I'm autocrossing... and I already have the tires just haven't mounted them so I'm not really looking for a recommendation on size but want to find out if I need to buy a fender roller.
Pretty sure it's been done and it didn't need the fenders rolled. Best to ask someone in the racing section just to make sure.
You'll be ok
what camber u guys run on wheels 18x9.5 +30mm and tires 265/35 all around?
Definitely -2.0+ maybe more if you have partially rolled fenders. Roll them flat and you wont have to add any unnecessary camber.
J where are the pics already
