Here's the deal....you can get less camber than that pretty sure and 9.5 +30 with 275/35 can work if you get a fender pull in the back. I'm betting most of the other work has been done if you are running 9.5 +20 right now. Look at 2tone's rx8 that he recently sold. It was running 9.5 +30 with 275/35 all around and he hadn't gotten the rears pulled yet. +20 with 275s is a bit much imo and 265s all around with +30 is easily doable as well.

Wheels will scrape the ground since you don't have tires or a suspension noted in the question.

265/35 or 275/35 all around and roll the fenders PROBABLY. You need to say how much of a drop you have. Don't stagger the tires on a square setup. That's just retarded.

That is, I don't rub the fenders at all over any speed bumps, etc. I do scrape though :) Are the B8's soft?

Guys how bout this
All around 18x9.5 offset +20 Lowered with sprint springs 2 inches Front tires 235/40/18? Rear tires 245/40/18? Let me know guys if these will fit... |
You'll need to roll your fenders, shave the rear fender/bumper tab and depending on your camber, maybe a slight pull in the rear.
Unless you're aiming for some reasons of your own to run a 235 on the front, you're better off running 245 all around. 245 already is a slight stretch on a 9.5 rim, 235 even worst. |
and just do 245/40 all around

Wheel weight matters to ride quality as well.
That being said, for looks the RP03 comes in 19x9.5 +42 which will look much better. I'm just gonna say Axis is not the best but if you really want it, someone else will help you. Don't pick a wheel thinner than stock. That's just stupid. There isn't a good size of the ev5. POST SUSPENSION SETUP The RP03 is definitely my top favorite. I just wish they weren't so pricey. Good call on the thinner than stock EV5. So I guess the final question is: Enkei rp03 19x9.5 +42 Tanabe springs Will it fit? |
Yea with 275/30 or 265/30 all around
|
Forgot to mention i have my fender rolled already... Thanks in advance!!!

Thanks in advance? We already answered
|
The reason why im putting a 235 is because my old set of tires have a 235 on it just thinking of using it for the mean time.
|
My bad my phone has some delays i didnt see your replies right away :)
|
Well thats fine just gonna look a little sunk

Depends on the track honestly. Wider for shorter tracks with more corners. A lot of people say 245 R comps are the best for a track while people in autox will use 275 or 285s. That's for naturally aspirated of course. More power = more tire usually
should also mention im lowered on coilovers (pretty low) my current rims are 9.5 offset +38 and the tyres are 255/40 . |
You probably aren't gonna get a much better answer in this thread on what tire you should run on the track than I gave you already. Ask in the racing section or something

Sorry, my fault. I have stock suspension right now but I know I'll be putting springs on it soon after getting the wheels. I'm leaning towards Tanabe springs, just not sure what would be the better choice between GF or NF. They have the same drop but different rates.

Yeah the 275/30 will definitely help. The 35 profile is too large for a 20" wheel.

I'm saying to do what I told you (actually look at the tab and take a picture) and then..................we will discuss different sized tires. How did you determine that tire size anyways? It's probably going to involve you getting more negative camber in the rear.
Just thought I'd share with you guys that I decided to go with my gut.....and try 275/30/20 tires for the rear. It worked great as I now have no rubbing whatsoever on bumps, so adding negative camber was not necessary. However, I will add that the front driver side wheel (20x8.5 with 245/35/20 tire) slightly rubs on the plastic tab behind the wheel but I'm not worried about that.....the plastic should wear out overtime, and if not I will shave it a bit. |

Suspension setup changes what fits for the last FREAKING TIME. /rant
Please for the love of god post your suspension setup (and how low you are on coilovers) when asking a question. That goes for everyone. That's basically a stock fitment. It'll work. |
I've done that. People don't read. I also had a form to fill out that mentioned all the variables so we could help more efficiently. People didn't use it.

I would also advise after you do this that you slit the plastic liner where the sheet metal is, cave it in using a heat gun to get it flush after grinding the metal down and place duct tape over it to cover it up when all done. |
That's why I asked how he came up with the tire sizes. Considerably taller than stock. It's like people pick and choose what they like from what I post.
|
Wheel Diameter (Inches) - 19"
Wheel Width (Inches) - 8.5F/10R" Offset - 38F/43Rmm Hub Bore - 73mm Tires front 215 35 r19 rear 225 35 r19 And im lowered 2 inches on Bc coilovers. |
about 50mm too thin on the tires
