+15.. but if I put 245 would it look nice n flush? Am planning to lower more soon

Outside the fender. H tech are too tall for something that aggressive.

Yeah, my tires are just barely popping out on 18x9 +29 with my H-techs. Looks great IMO. On 18x9.5 +15 they'll be really sticking out on H-techs.

Those are my pics on the previous page. They're not the best - just some cam phone pics I took real quick when the wheels were first installed. Here's another shot:

Thanks! I'm very happy with them, and they look even more aggressive up close - especially with those meaty Star Specs. I'm not as much of an expert on wheel fitment as some of the guys around here. But I'd say without lowering the car a little more, they're going to stick out more than you want. Also, my front wheels just barely fit without rubbing, most of the time. I found that they rubbed the fender lining once or twice , but it was minor. And like I mentioned on the previous page, my rears were rubbing quite a bit without a roll. Point is that you'd most likely need work done to the front and rear fenders to make those +15's fit, as well as added camber. Definitely an aggressive fitment.

Hi, im looking to run 18x10 +35 with 245 rubber, what is needed to make this fit or should I go with 9.5". im lowered about 2" running about -2 camber all round. thanks

J8635621 06-25-2011 09:45 AM

Go with 265/35 or 275/35 and roll fenders + remove the bumper tab. 275 might need the slightest of pulls to work.

thewird 06-25-2011 11:04 AM

Does anyone know if 17x9 +45 with a 275/40 would fit and corner with stock suspension?

sinclair rx8 06-25-2011 11:46 AM

how would look 18x9.5 +12mm front and rear on s-techs

J8635621 06-25-2011 12:56 PM

Thewird-it'll work

Sinclair-if you have to ask, it won't work.

Ross_Dawg 06-25-2011 01:16 PM

no low offset wheels without coilovers or spring/shocks upgrade minimum

TeamRX8 06-25-2011 04:24 PM

this thread has achieved black hole suckage status

Thanks for your input. It is greatly appreciated. May you live long and prosper under a thousand suns.

jesse rx8 06-27-2011 03:54 AM

Hey guys ive recently bought 18/9 + 15 (front) and 18/10 +35 (rear) and am probably going to run 235/40/18 tyres for front and 255/35/18 for rear. would these fit without coilovers or upgraded suspension. i dont want to lower it just yet and would it be a fairly comfortable setup.

jesse rx8 06-27-2011 03:57 AM

and also what would i need in order to fit these. -negative camber -pull fender -roll fender -etc thanks in advance

J8635621 06-27-2011 08:34 AM

No it won't fit without an upgraded suspension. It will sit outside the fenders unless you are lowered about 2"

jesse rx8 06-28-2011 04:06 AM

hey j what would u suggest me to do to my suspension in order for best fitment. do i have to get coilovers or can i just get better springs and shocks

J8635621 06-28-2011 07:35 AM

Coilovers would be my choice and put 265/35 on the back instead

JByers 06-30-2011 06:49 PM

Autox tire question. In stock class must run stock rim. How much work to fit 275/35/18 Hoosier A6's on an '05? Fender rolled? Inner fender liner rubbing?

J8635621 07-01-2011 08:23 AM

Race tires notoriously don't follow their measurements. Check in the racing section.

RitchieRich 07-03-2011 04:56 PM

Hey Guys
Im thinking about buying the xxr 552
18x9.5 +25 R&F
Or
18x8.5 +25 F
18x9.5 +25 R
Im also unlowered
Will these fit ?
Thanks for the help !

J8635621 07-03-2011 05:09 PM

Will look awful

i3oots 07-04-2011 08:04 PM

The max size for the stock 18" rims and no offset?

I didn't want to scour hundreds of pages to find the answer and I clicked on the 18 tag and found out 245/40 will fit but what about 255/40? I just want to know what the max is you can put on the stock rims without it hitting the wheel well. Thanks and sorry if it's already been answered.
