255/40 will work. Why go wider than that though?

Why would it look awful ? because it is unlowered ?
The rims when i order them will roughly take 3 months to get here by which time I'll have a body kit on and I'm not lowering my 8 with a body kit on it considering the body kit will drop the car's distance to the ground I highly doubt they will "look awful" ?

Because it is unlowered. Will look awful

I wouldn't want to go wider I was just wondering. I think 255/40 would look ok on stock rims. I haven't lowered it so I don't know if it would still look ok as 40 and not 45. Thanks for the reply though.

J8635621 07-04-2011 09:29 PM

Don't do 45. Look up what that number means

I know it's the height of the sidewall but I don't like it when there's a big gap in between the top of the tire to the wheel well, I think it looks kinda dumb that's why I was wondering if 255/45 would look better than 255/40. I will probably get a 255/40 anyway.

J8635621 07-05-2011 09:18 AM

255/45 would not be the same height as a 900/45.

Im wanting to put a set of 5zigen ZR 520's on my 8. what would be some good sizes and offsets to consider without problems with rubbing? Im wanting a more aggressive look and im just not sure what will work

J8635621 07-05-2011 08:14 PM

That's not how this thread works. We need your suspension info, amount of fender work you'll do, wheel specs, and tire specs.

RitchieRich 07-05-2011 09:19 PM

I gave you this but you never said if it would fit or not you just said will look terrible hahahahahaha^^
appreciate the help

J8635621 07-05-2011 09:44 PM

Almost anything will fit at stock height for normal driving. Just a lot of things will look AWFUL

J8635621 07-05-2011 09:46 PM

I have over 1000 posts in this thread now. Never expected that

Casey752 07-06-2011 08:20 PM

Your commitment to fitment is admirable. :)

Will this fit on a moderate drop? Not willing to do any fender rolling.

Rear
Size: 19x8.5
Offset: +33mm
Tire: 275/35-19

Thanks!!

J8635621 07-07-2011 07:23 AM

If you can't read, there is gonna be a problem even if you get an answer.

Daeity 07-08-2011 05:26 PM

Will this fit?

On all fours stock suspension/brakes not lowered
MR116

Size 18" x 9"
Offset +35 or+45

J8635621 07-08-2011 05:32 PM

Yea either one with 245/40 or 255/40 if you don't plan on lowering (I'd do +45 if choosing the wider tire)

How have i not listed enough info for help? i clearly stated wheel and tire specs. on one of the first posts on this thread it was said that suspension info was not that important but i am currently stock but looking to get coilovers, which is why i asked for advice! i figured since it was a thread about what will fit that someone would tell me something other than you havent listed enough info or "cant help you if you cant read", like one guy said.

:wallbash:

J8635621 07-08-2011 07:31 PM

So you want an answer even though you KNOWINGLY haven't given us the information we need? What the fuck kind of reasoning is that? None of the stuff you posted will work with your setup.

TrickWilliams 07-09-2011 11:06 AM

lowered on megan track coilovers can i fit 245/40/18s with 18x9.5 all the way around my eight without rollin or pulling anything or no? if so can i go 10.5?
