20's will most likely look bigger than you expected. Plus, with their weight, they'd reduce performance across the board.

I did some searching, found nothing of a 20x10.5, the widest I saw up front was 8.5, myself. Some on the rear, running 10.5, with obviously a staggered set up.

https://www.rx8club.com/series-ii-wheels-tires-brakes-suspension-165/i-bought-some-20-alloy-tech-scythe-rims-212202/

A few posts down, he mentions having to get his rear's rolled for them to fit.

It's all up to you, but I'd stay away from it. Heck as a reference for size, compare the normal 18" wheels, then look at an R3 with 19" wheels. Now imagine going even bigger.

From what I saw in the few threads I looked in, I don't see 20x10.5's fitting, with a decently low offset. I could be wrong, but that's what I take from it anyway.

For a 20" wheel, with a 10.5 width, I'd say yes.

I'm referring to fitment, because I just don't see it happening. From what I read, the people running anywhere close to that, weren't running as low of offset.

Yes, I'm aware it's not hellajdmflushy0, but I'm leaning more towards hellajdmnotfitting.

Also... Coming from the guy who said "No." to helping.

Well, I have seen lower, haha. Much more form than function though.

Hi guys,

New guy here looking at adding a RX8 next year. Would 17x9 +60~63 wheels fit on front and rears? I didn't see anything using search.

Front: 19x9.5 +22
Rear: 19x10.5 +22

Lowered on Megan Racing springs+stock shocks. I'd imagine I'd have to at least roll my fenders, if these will fit...

You'll need to do more than roll the fenders in the rear...

Im looking to run
F:18x8.5 +35
R:18.9.5 +35
Im back to my stock suspension.. need to know if this will rub.
I might just go 18x8.5 all around to save the trouble of staggered tires.
Please help me out

245/40 F/R would work if you're going staggered.

If you're sticking with 8.5 235/40 F/R will be fine.

Awesome thanks. Wheels are the one thing I never really read in to. If I go the staggered route, you think 18x10 in the rear would rub?

Depends on what offset you plan on running with it.

Need a roll if you're going to go with 18x10 +35.

It'll look a little odd on stock suspension though.

Yea I blew all 4 of my shocks so I'm back on my stockers for now until coils this summer. Thanks for the help, looks like I'll have to go un-staggered!

18x9.5 +35 with 245/40 all around would look right if you're on stock suspension.

Definitely. I'll try to get my hand on the 9.5s if possible. If not I'm sure the coilovers will help the look of non staggered.

Coilovers help the look of anything. If you plan on going aggressive then it's the only way to go; anything else wouldn't sit right.
