Agreed. I wasn't very happy with my springs, so I'm almost happy I broke em lol. Rims, the coils, then my autobahn kit and I'll be a happy camper with my 8

Sounds like a plan. Post pics when you're finished with that!

Only if you like massive wheel gap and wheels beyond the fenders.

Ill be getting slammed soon enough, money is just prohibiting me from that until summer. I just ordered 18x8.75 +35. (Yes .75) What would you recommend for tires J8635621?

Alright, little bit a different flavor of "Will it fit" here.

Wanted to see if anyone thinks I can fit 275/40R17 Nitto NT01's with 17x9" +45 Enkei RPF1's and not run into any issues on the track. Rear fenders are rolled. I've got PowerTrix coilovers and I'm running about in between 1 and 2 fingers for wheel gap.

Oh, for some reason I thought we talked about 17x10 ET38?

I think I might have mentioned something about 17x9.5 RPF1's at +38 offset. I'm pretty sure I can fit 275 NT01's on the 9" wide RPF1's, we'll have to see. NT01's usually run a little wider than most street tires.

I have 265/40R17 Dunlop Direzza Star Specs on them right now no problem so it wouldn't be too big of a jump. Just wanted to make sure before I bite the bullet.

The 275 will probably fit, but its 25.5" OD with 10.9" section width may get some slight rub in certain situations like full steering lock or severe bumps. I ran a Hoosier 295/30-18 on an 18x8 +45 without any problem; slightly shorter and wider (though pinched on the narrow wheel and not as low as you at the time), for autox without any fender mods.

Yeah full steering lock isn't a problem, these would be on dedicated track wheels. If I can make it around the track then it's fine. Severe bumps I'm not too worried about either. I've got 11k/8k springs and progress tech sways and run the dampers pretty stiff as well so when I hit bumps there isn't much travel to be heard of.

Thanks for the info though, pretty much exactly what I was looking for.

I'm going to get a set of used 275's and if for some reason they don't fit in the front correctly I can run them staggered. 275 out back and I have three 255/40R17 NT01's in the shed that have a couple weekends left on them. Really wish they made 265's lol.

I just bought a set of 17x10 +52 wheels. Planning to put Hoosier 295/35-17 tires on them

Hoosier is considering releasing a new 275/35-17 size in 2012 (24.5" OD)

.

That would be a perfect size, hopefully they go through with it. I just can't bring myself to run Hoosiers right now though, they're more expensive and don't last anywhere near as long as NT01's for road course applications. Maybe once I start running Time Trials but until then it's not in the budget.

245/40.

You'll need a roll and shave of the whole tab and get low.

Front: 18x8.5 +30
Rear: 18x10 +25

Lowered on Megan Racing springs+stock shocks. I know the front will fit. I think the rear will be pushing it though

If I want my wheel to have the center deeper in , I'll be looking for positive lower offset like +20mm , right?

Depends on wheel. Usually it's width dependent but some are offset dependent as well.
