Hi,

I'm looking at getting some RPF1's would 18x9.5 ET15 with 225/45/18 fit alright?

I want to use the car on the track but also don't want weak fitment.

Thanks.

i'm 18x9.5 +40, lowered on s-tech and tokico dampers. wanting to put 10mm spacers, but there is conflicting information as seen above. from eyeballing it, i think i can do 10mm spacers with a light roll. i'll let this thread know when i get around to it.. the car is ready for the garage..

@9krpmrx8, what dampers?

@j8635621, i'm also right around -2ish camber all around.

a weak fitment is nothing compared to a weak brain, there's nothing weak about the same wheel in +45 fitted with a good 265/35-18, it will smash the lame setup listed above

^IMO, it'll be a tight fit w/only a fender roll n' shaved tabs. You're basically at the borderline "Aggressive" fitment.

iirc, the reverend had +30's on his 18x10's before the spacers - he could run 265's but there wasn't much wiggle room.

Then again, you could do a slight pull (very slight) on the front and play w/the camber numbers to get some more "play"...

Not only do you have grip, you didn't have to modify the fenders or have the steering wheel always trying to yank out of your hand over uneven road surfaces (especially when braking), or when hitting puddles in the rain, etc.. These people adding all that scrub radius with low offset wheels are all about putting on a look and not thinking about about what the end result on the chassis dynamics is. Hopefully they are cranking up the toe-in to compensate for the added forces trying to pull apart the steering components. Their cars must be very tiring, if not unnerving, to drive.

Then don't do aggressive fitment. You don't see me trying to create a nuclear reactor.

245/35/19 ?

Will it fit:

Wheels: 19" x 8.5" offset 45
Tires: 245/35/19
Same size for front and rear.
Suspension: Bilstein PSS9

Will it fit without spacers and will I be able to lower the car to the Bilstein recommended height ?

Thanks
