18x9 W/ 40 Offset??
Ok folks Im looking for a conservative upgrade here with little or no performance hit if possible. I am not willing roll my fenders or change the camber. Think plug n' play.
Rim options:
ACE Trend:
18x8 w/38 Offset
18x9 w/ 40 Offset
Will the 9inch work? if so what tire combos would be better for a little wider than stock, but not crazy weird. I just want to flll the fender well a bit more.
Also, I would like to lower it about an inch in the future.
Thanks ahead of time

imo, no reason to run stag fitment but if you dont want to go with the same sizes all the way around...
go with 245's with either a 35 or 40 series sidewalls.
You should be fine w/out a roll and its pretty conservative. You can probably run staggered tires too if you can get a decent price.

ACE Trend weight
I think the rims look sweet and havea similar rotary theme like the other accents on the car.

lol well we know who the optimist is!
Seriously though lets talk numbers, how much gas mileage am I going to lose? Is there going to be a serious instability problem?
In some worlds .1 is a lot and in others it is not a factor at all... There will be a difference yes, but how noticeable

Ride quality will be affected negatively in a noticeable manner. Gas mileage will continue to be bad. You can't fix that. There are no numbers to discuss as it's highly variable. Heavy wheels are a negative in every regard (especially when they are ugly). I guess they are cheap though..........

Enkei PF01 18x8.5
Hankook Ventus V4 ES 245/40
I decided against a staggered setup as further reading indicated that staggering worsen understeer.
Any further advise is welcome however!

Stock wheels are slightly tucked right now due to winter weather. Will be a little lower as soon as April hits. I am lower than s-techs.

I want to keep ride height stock.
What offset would give me flush or just shy front and rear and what size tire to fill in a little gap without looking retarded? Will be going with 18s of an undetermined width.
Going for the "tough" look. Want something flush with some meat on it, I like when the tire sticks out past the rim. No stretch and not flush.
Something that says hey look at me, look how big my biceps are. Haha.
