yes will fit, whether it rubs or not will depend on your ride height. 9.5 +42 will not poke out at all.

you will rub with that tire size. the tire diameter is too big.

275/30/19

depends on the height, i don't think it'll rub if it was at stock or near stock height. But you're right, 275/35 is for 18" wheels.

oh it can clear the front and rear fenders fine, but that tire size will rub the front fender wells/lining. a 275/30/19 is smaller than stock, which is what necessary to run aggressive setups up front. whether it's small enough for a car with a drop, i can't say.

ahh yes, you installed the hipermax, i forgot. lol no problem man.

if you roll the fenders you will clear them easy. your front tires might rub the fender liner on the inside when you do full turns, but its more of an annoyance than a problem.

if you do go with that setup lettme know if it rubs with your drop. thanks

imo 19's are as big as you should go on an rx8... 20's look too big, just my opinion.

Definitely lower it though, looks like a 4x4 right now.

Hard to tell from the angles of your pics but it looks like the wheels are sticking out past the fenders. If so then you will need some negative camber to get them tucked under the wheel wells. What offset did you go with? Post up some pics from behind the car.

you went with the wheels without knowing the offsets? lol close one. looks like some negative camber will set that front nicely. do you rub at all?

Rear 245/45 R18

that 225/40/18 front and 245/45/18 rear would be drag style. your tire would be puny up front and huge in the back.

staggered would fit, but I don't recommend it on stock wheels. most people stagger the wheels for the looks, staggering the tires on stock wheels is pointless and will screw up your handling.

Complicated question for the wheel gods!

OK, so here is the deal

19x8.5 F 42 (or 45 may be available)

19x10 R 42 (OR 45 may be available)

What is the widest set of tires that can fit on the car (stock bodied 04 6spd). I don't mind doing just a touch of fender trimming if need be.

Also what impact would lowering the car 1" all around have on this fitment ?

I love my 8 but i hate the little donuts that came from the factory!

Thank you!

I came across a killer deal on some"all season" tires on Craigslist with these measurements. They are from a 350Z ... We don't get much if any snow on the west coast.
