Front: +30mm, +36mm or +38mm

Rear: +42mm or +45mm

Which combo would give me the desired fit? I tried measuring, but my methods have more % error than the difference between the offsets lol.
I am looking at the same set up, i can fit 18x9+30 up front with no rubbing. i need to know if can fit 18x10 on the rear with no rubbing. the car will be used for circuit racing. guards have been lipped/ rolled already. i have 18x9.5+18 which touch.

thanks

Look for something closer to 8.5 +40.

you can fit 10's with no rubbing on stock fenders, all depends on offset man, +0 will rub like crazy but +40/50 is an easy fit with wide tires.

Should I change tire size or just stay away from the whole idea?

Yes wider tire and don't put them on before lowering it. 245/40 at the least. http://www.flickr.com/photos/j863562...7611482633008/ 9.5 +38 with 245/40 and a similar drop to s-techs

You will be herrafrush at 9.5 + 30. With a big drop you would definitely be rubbing. Even with a mild drop you will most likely rub under aggressive cornering.

I think a +38 or more you'd be fine.

I never rub running 18 x 9.5 +30 with 245/40-18's dropped on S techs and KYB gas adjusts. Shocks matter.

Yeah when he mentioned mild drop I assumed he would be running stock shocks just changing springs. Could be wrong though, wouldn't be the first time.

What would be the best offset for a 10" wide rim and trying to run 285 rubber?

And will 18 x 10 + 38 fit?
what would be required to make them fit?

Thanks

I hope you are one of those parking lot racers if you want 285s. That's a huge tire.

Car will be driven on the track a fair bit and occasional weekend drive. Suspension is adjustable of course.

almost certainly too much tire for the track. 245s are more track oriented

How so I always thought, wider tyre = more grip?
