Looking to put
Option A. 245/45/17
Option B. 235/45/17

on 17x9 +35 wheels as my winter setup.

Will they fit fine with no rubbing? I'm lowered about an inch on KW V3s. I don't have camber plates and I'm not a big fan of fender rolling.

Much appreciated.

typically for a winter setup you would want a smaller width wheel and tire combo.

endless34 09-17-2008 02:48 AM

18 x 8.5 offset 33
245/40/18

My car is lowered by 1.5 inches. Will I have any issues?

no issues

cjkim 09-19-2008 03:13 AM

i'm pretty sure i know the answer already but...
18x8.5, 245/40/18 +15 all around
needs a good rolling huh?

alexisthemovie 09-19-2008 03:38 AM

^ will work with roll/flare :)

J_Owens 09-19-2008 06:52 PM

will 18x10 with a 30 offset fit in the rear?

NgoRX8 09-19-2008 08:31 PM

yes with a fender roll and a small enough tire. 245 or 255 would work.

J_Owens 09-19-2008 08:53 PM

oh ok, yeah im running 255 now, but on a 18x10 should i go bigger then 255?

J_Owens 09-19-2008 08:53 PM

im running 255 on a 18x9.5 right now, thought i may need to go bigger for a 18x10

alexisthemovie 09-19-2008 09:13 PM

do it

J_Owens 09-19-2008 09:20 PM

lol do what? put the 255 on the 18x10? will that be ok or no?

alexisthemovie 09-19-2008 09:26 PM

yes that will work, slight stretch.

J_Owens 09-19-2008 09:43 PM

oh cool, thanks

J_Owens 09-20-2008 11:33 AM

2 piece wheels are exactly that: 2 pieces. It consists of the face and the barrel. 3 piece wheels are the face, lip, and barrel. It makes it easier to customize or refinish, for example extended the lip.

lol k thanks, sorry if it seemed like a dumb question, just wasnt sure what to call them or if they had a specific name when i try to search them

enthegen 09-26-2008 02:25 PM

Ok my question is (since im a nood when it comes to offets) I know the rims will fit as they are 18x7.5 I am going to run factory tires 225/45R18. My question being what is the proper offset.

The wheels i have been looking at are the Enkei FD-05 they come in two offsets +45 and +53.. Which would be the better fit? :lol2:

Why are you picking such a small width? anything will work

djcharlee 09-27-2008 03:11 AM

18x8 +38 offset
5x114.3 bolt pattern

What tires clear my 8 with S-Tech and Tokico D-spec combo
