I'm at a +20 with 245s and have a bit of room left after a bit of a roll. The front is good and I cut on the rear tabs just in case but have plenty of room there. The 225s are pretty tall but I'm not sure exactly where they will be after that much stretch. My instincts say they should be fine to roll around on for a little while.

Ok so I made it through the first 28 of the 362 pages. I think I more-or-less found my answer on page 7. But I would like to ask something a bit more specific... seeing as how I'm a perfectionist.

I am going for a mildly aggressive setup with an emphasis on performance over looks. Ideally they would be as flush to the fenders as possible. I want to be able to rotate my tires so staggered is out of the question. The car will be sitting on S-Techs. Tire-wise I am looking for the best grip I can get. So the wider the tire the better. But if I have to stretch a little bit to get it to fit that's ok... But just a little.

So here are the wheels I think will accomplish that and I'm set on getting (Still deciding on flat black or chromium black): XXR 527s
They are 18 x 8.75 +35.

BigO mentioned that 18X9 +38 245/40/18 will be ok on all 4 corners. Therefore a 8.75 wide wheel with an offset of +35 should be ok? Can I go wider on tires?

What do you think? Will they fit? Or will they be popping out in the front and sunken in in the back?

Will fit no problem. 5-10mm spacers may be needed depending on how flush you want. You can fit 9.5 +45 with 275s if you absolutely need a ton of tire.

Great. Thanks J8... But surely you don't mean I could run 9.5 +45 on 275 all the way around? I would imagine that's too wide on the front. I'd prefer the wheels/tires be uniform an all four corners.

So what is the max tire size I could run on all four, given my proposed setup?

That would work all around. 275s on a street driven car without forced induction is frivolous though. 245s are enough 99.7% of the time.

Noup don't going to fit with out a Lott of work.... You should get different offset like +30 +35 believe me I have a new set of 265s 18 just because of that (my offset was +20 on 18x9.75s..)

That wheel setup will work, but I wouldn't suggest 255/40R18. That size is larger in diameter than stock. 245/40R18 is better, and 265/35R18 would even work.

I would also strongly suggest lowering with that agressive of fitment, would look dumb without being lowered.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I plan to change the tire size in the future to 245 as soon as my current ones need replacing. I'm also planning on buying Koni shocks and and good lowering springs later.

255/40 is damn near stock diameter. Lowering isn't super necessary either. Probably look ok stock height

just know that if you guys run anything larger than 5mm spacers you will need to replace your studs with extended ones or risk your wheels falling off while driving.

yeah true,
but the stock studs will poke out of bolt on spacers that are smaller than 20mm. On legit wheels this usually isnt a problem since they'll have cutouts for studs when mounting spacers.
but in cases like xxr, rotas, etc I know that if your studs stick through the bolt-on spacer it will hit the wheel and you'll be unable to mount it. In which case you'll have to cut the stock studs, which IMO is a horrible idea

obviously haha. Not everyone has that option though, for example the person you recommended spacers to, who has xxr's.

I think Munchie (sp?) was running 18x9.5 +15 RPF1s with 265's, and he's much lower than I plan on going. If anyone knows for sure, please chime in because I can't find his old specs. I'm willing to go as narrow as 245, but I'm sticking with the aforementioned wheel specs. I do thank you for the input and am not challenging you, BTW.

He didn't have 265s lol. Those specs will need more extensive mods than a roll no matter what tires you pick

I've looked alot and became redicuously confused. I want to be a nice flush. I dont mind the fender rolling if I have to.

Suspension: Bilstien PSS9 lowered 1.75 from stock

Why XXRs? Bilsteins are pretty nice but then you want XXRs? Do the +35 all around imo. I'd get something wider than 8.75 but that's just me
