Will It Fit Thread

It works fine. My belief is that the extra 0.25" on an XXR wheel is just to have extra lip poking out. It's a 9.5" in reality. A lot of people run those with no issue. The +35 puts you almost in line with many people running RPF1s.

I just called my shop that I prefer to work with and they only have 8.75 in +20... But it's an amazing price!!! Would these look flush or still be tucked?

Mine is just a roll and rear tabs bent upward. Camber at 1.5 in the front and 2 out back because the right rear rubbed on occasion with my daughter in the passenger rear.

Thanks J and Pieper! You guys have really helped me out! I think it'll be 9.75 @ +35 w/ 245/40.
Now the new dilemma is that my shop can't get them in chromium black for 2 months. All they have is flat black... In 8.75... FML :/
I'll post pics when I get all set-up.

Need help with offset..
I want to put a set of 20x8.5 or 20x9.0 front and back and I have the 25mm spacers from my stock setup.
What offset would I need to maintain the flush look with the spacers at those sizes.. also would 255 be too wide for the front or could I put them on all four wheels.
Thanks

There is good reason for J's hate.
There are lots of bad ideas in your plan (20's, staggered, spacers with new wheels).
If you check out this thread:
https://www.rx8club.com/wheels-tires...ls-rx8-232206/
You will see that if you wanted to use your 25 mm spacers, you should get wheels that are near +50 offset.
The smarter thing to do is to sell your spacers and buy wheels with the correct offset so you don't need to use them.

Well after reading into that a bit how does this sound
19x9.5 +25 with 255/35-19 all around
no spacers... happy
I'm ok with getting coilovers as that was the next item on my list as it stands
so will this work and will I need to roll my fenders...
I'm just trying to get it nice and flush, not caring to much about the performance bit as it's just a daily driver.
Thanks
also I see why you were being snippy with me, it was a stupid idea :P
if you guys think I can fit wider tires with that setup with no rubbing or seriously annoying issues let me know!

A 19x9.5 +25 with 255/35R19 will require a decent amount of fender work. You would need a +40 or +50 offset range to not need fender work.
Flush is about 25-30 mm farther outboard than stock. Since stock size is 8" +50, you would want a +25 offset on a 8" wheel to get it "flush" without fender mods.
I also wouldn't suggest going to a 265 on a 19" since it would require you to go down to a 30 profile. Any chance in talking you into 18x9.5 wheels?

well I had three goals in mind, and you clearly know your way around this thread.
1. 19" rims
2. flush with fenders
3. wider tires
I imagine this has been talked to death at this point, what is your suggestion to meet these goals. I will be buying the coilovers before I buy the wheels and tires so height shouldn't be a problem... I don't think O.o
Thanks for your help, clearly this whole wheel and stance thing is not sinking in, sorry

It is important to note that "flush" means different things to different people. To me, flush means 25-30 mm farther outboard than the stock setup, so I will use that as a reference.
Since the stock setup is 8" +50.....a flush stock wheel would be 8" +20 or +25.
For a 9.5" wheels, the same "flush" would be 19x9.5 +40 or +45. Either 245/35R19 or 255/35R19 will work. And please do a square setup, same wheels on front and back.
This will look weird if you aren't lowered at least 3/4", so make sure you save enough $$$ for suspension.

I have enkie rpf1's 18 x9.5 and 275/35-18's all the way around with a +40mm offset and I'm lowered on tien h-tech springs with no rubbing.drivabilty is fine. The only time I feel the big rubber in front is if I get on a road with groves from heavy trucks it pulls me around a little.

Flush depends on ride height........stock height 9.5 +40 is pretty close but at say my ride height (quite low) it requires an offset into the upper 20s for the same effect. But being flush at a lowered ride height requires more fender work because the wheel doesn't undergo as much camber change before rubbing when the wheel tucks in like with weight transfer/cornering.
