if you can find that size, sure but I think that size will be hard to find unless your on r compounds. Only tire I can think of are Kuhmo MX

khronus79 10-04-2008 05:37 PM

Kuhmo ecsta mx and Goodyear eagle f1 gs-d3, plus a few others according to tirerack http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compar...=9&RunFlat=All

imput1234 10-04-2008 06:56 PM

rub depends on your drop, camber, and what kind of roll you have. they should fit

khronus79 10-04-2008 07:44 PM

thanks for the help.

Hi folks!

My question is for tire fitment:
I have 19x9 front rims and 19x9.5 rear rims:

The tire I want to use is:
275/30ZR19

Will 275 fit on a 9 inch rim?

I had these tires on my previous rims, and they are sensational, even for the price. I got these new 9 & 9.5 inch rims with the thought of going to 275.

Camel8 10-06-2008 12:42 PM

I have gone through most of this thread but...

19 * 19.5 +42 all round with
265 30 19

Any clue?

NgoRX8 10-06-2008 01:14 PM

it will fit
If you meant 19x9.5 anyways.

imput1234 10-06-2008 01:20 PM

265 on a 19inch wide wheels, a little strech, lol

That's some good news! but I think I'm more worried I'll have to replace my fronts 9 inch wide wheels, to fit the 265s :(

If I had to replace my fronts, I might as well replace all four rims/tires and get rims that are "most appropriate" for 275s - I'm guessing 10.5 wide wheels would best fit 275?

Thank you so much for your expertise!!
If I had to "replace" rims = 4x 19x10.5 rims at 43 or 40 offset is what I'm thinking.

Haha! Oops! :D 19.5 would look interesting to say the least.

Thanks guys...

your 265's will fit fine, so will your 275 no need for wider rims, unless u just want em

i need help with wheel and tires

I need a little help, i am about to purchase the rota p45r wheels, i was planning a 18x9.5 rear and 18x9.5 front, both with a 48 mm offset. i need some help with the tire size as well, i was going with the falken rt615 tires i just need to know if they will fit and the tire size. I was also purchasing the s tech springs, would they make it rub, or are the a good addition to the setup? please respond as i am to be purchasing them in the next day or 2. thx

Woot! thanks! I'm so delighted to hear that!!

My favorite tires "960As Pole Positions" will be a welcome upgrade (again)! thanks!!
Awe man, I missed those tires so much from my stock rims. I LOVE THESE TIRES!!

Cheers!!

here's a "for fun" test fit of my MR2 spec work meisters that were on my s2000. :)

Keep in mind that it has basically no camber since the car didn't move once I set it down. I'm pretty certain that I can clear negative offsets on a 9" width wheel.

PS: my car's stock. I'm still doing research on rx8 coilovers. Already have the wheel fitment measurements down, so don't argue with me on what fits or not on stock body. :)

17x9 +35 with 20mm spacer = 17x9 +15 with 235/45/17 Dunlop Direzza DZ101

Thats a huge gap, other than that looks good.

alexisthemovie 10-06-2008 11:08 PM

stock suspension lol but i'm probably going to pick up some hipermax soon.

18x9.5 with 30 offset all around? will it fit without touching the fenders? if so what would the ideal tire size be?

Are you lowered? If you are you'll most likely need a roll.

you can fit a 275 with a roll and pull

gregs 10-08-2008 12:24 AM

yes i am lowered on coilovers, around 2"-2.5"
might have to reconsider that choice then

gregs 10-08-2008 12:37 AM

found another set in 18x9.5 in 35 offset would i run into issues with rubbing while being lowered and if not what tire size be ideal?

alexisthemovie 10-08-2008 12:50 AM

that's even easier, would clear 275's easily with a roll

Big Money Pit 10-08-2008 11:42 AM

i have a few more questions:

i've been looking at 17" wheels. can i run a 17x10 without rolling, or do i need a 17x9.5? what would the optimal tire size be for this? can i use a 275/40/17 or 285/40/17 (for the 10")...

or should i go with a 35?

also, what spring/shock combo would lower this setup enough to look nice and handle well?

Bravery 10-08-2008 12:34 PM
